yep, we just picked up registration forms today. The high school registrar still had J's file from last year (transferred from the middle school). Just need his grades from CA (which they never mailed to us????)

So do you have to call for that? Did you leave a forwarding address? Seems like in this day and age they could email that kind of thing to the new school and be done.

hmm, interesting bike. That would be fun!

We got a kick out of watching people at Huntington Beach rent surry bikes (seats 4 , 6 if you squish) Some didn't do well to steer the thing, I can imagine they might be a bit awkward. But they were laughing and smiling the whole time

We had too many people with us to rent one last time. Would love to go back and do that one afternoon.

I DO like that hotel.. Plus I cant tell you how excited the boys are to try out that new water park thingy they have there now. Now that the beds are comfy.. Plus... I think that Mimis is some of the best food around. YUM!

Oh yeah! I want to hear about that new water park/pool area they have.

I've sounded DH out about the idea of staying there sometime, especially if it meant we could go back again sooner, you know? But so far he is unconvinced. But I'm not sure he realizes the huge price difference, either. I'm gonna tell him you're staying there for 6 nights @ $500 and see what he says.

We have mail forwarding, buit it hasn't come.

The school here can just ask them to fax the info.
We've never had a hassle to collect records for enrollment in MN, the schools just talk to each other.
Now getting registered in CA was a huge headache, we had to hunt down and call to ask MN schools to send the info.. the district in CA wouldn't ask "it's the parent's responsibility"

ummm so why did I just fill out this fax request form and sign permission for you to talk to them??

MN staff were confused and said "ask the school to call us" , we tried really we did .... but they won't.
Her reply "that's not how it's done"

Yes we know!

The price and the fact that the HoJo's is the same walking distance as DLH.
With the potential to eat for cheaper (and much yummier) off site.

IMO Disneyland food has gone downhill in the last year

The beds are FAR comfier, and the pool area is way nicer. There is a reason it is the favored hotel on the boards. The walk isnt much, really.. Its just different then the walk from the DLH. You dont get the DTD stuff, and all that. ut for what we are saving, I think I am good with that. But like Bernice said, you can get some GOOD FOOD. Mimis is GREAT. We HATE diner food. HATE IT. But Mimis is soooo tasty.

Did everyone leave while I was doing the dishes??? Sorry... Mikalah was helping me. Then I had to make some guacamole to go with dinner.. I should have busted out the tortillas, but I like them hot off the grill. So I will wait.

I bought some killer bean dip at the farmers market, it is all organic, and such. I dont know what that matters to the taste, but it is GOOD!! I bought this little package of it, and you just add hot water and it makes a freaking ton of the stuff. So we are having steak tacos tonight, with guac, bean dip, and probably some roasted zucchini.

Bleah. I can't stand cilantro! Or tomatoes, for that matter.

Unless the tomatoes are cooked. Somebody else told me they know other non-tomatoe eaters that like cooked tomato, not fresh. It just turns my stomach to acid.
