So... Would it make sense for your sis to visit this same doc and explain/show the plan she has in place for him in FL, and get a letter from this same doc saying that he'll do well with this plan? If he is looking out for Tyler's best interest, he'll recognize that she's doing right by him and things will be fine. On the other hand, if he will write darn near anything, HELLO! This is the client's mother here! :confused3

However, I would like to add that even though he has these severe problems, he played Spiderman on the X-Box tonight and kicked my DS's rear!:lmao: :thumbsup2

That's hilarious! :lmao:

Guys, I really need to get to bed it's 11:30 and I have to get up at 6am! Thanks for listening to me tonight. I'm really trying to stay calm in all of this and it helped me to just be able to dump all of it out there. My sister is very upset and crying a lot. She has been taking tons of photos of Tyler and said she was doing that because she was afraid that the judge would give custody to the proctor parents and then the next day when he turned 18 they would get guardianship and she will never see him again.

I am so trying to remain optimistic, but I am so freaked out by this whole thing. I just can't let her see my worries, I have to be the strong one for her and get her through this in one piece. When it's all over then I can have my nervous breakdown!:lmao: You know, there are sometimes when I hate being the oldest child, protector of my younger siblings, the responsible one and now with my mother gone I feel like I have to be the older sister and her mother figure too. I think when this is all done and over I just might need a good stiff drink!!

You're the best, Sam. Hang in there, and we'll hang in there with you! :grouphug:

Good night. :cloud9:

Awww.....I'm sorry you and your sister have to go through this whole ordeal.....I hope everything works out. Hang in there Alison!

I recorded I Survived a Japanese Game Show. I fast forwarded through it until near the end. I really don't like that blonde girl Megan. She is really manipulative and I hope she gets voted off! :rolleyes1
Oh, I didn't watch tonight, darn!

If Megan is the gal I'm thinking of, I don't like her either. (Was she one of the two up for eviction last week?)

Yeah and then she made the others promise that whe wouldn't get voted into the elimination round. :sad2: Then Olga (the other girl) lost against Donnell. I think she should have been the one to leave last week.

Yeah, we thought of that also. But unfortunately since my sister no longer has legal custody he is not allowed to show her his records or talk to her about it. He will be subpeoned into court and our attorney will question him on what steps he feels should be done to facilitate the change. He will also present our expert doctor's plan and see why he thinks it wouldn't work.

To be honest, there really are not issues here. Tyler takes an anti-seizure medication, the melatonine to sleep and a calcium pill. That's it for his meds. He is actually quite easy to care for, relatively speaking. He enjoys playing video games and knows every Disney movie by heart. He will probably never be able to hold a job, even one that was very simple. He is not a real disruptive child. He is really like a 4-5yo child in many ways. You must help him pick out his clothes and get dresssed, help with hygiene issues, etc...He can easily get used to a routine. To be honest once he is in FL for a few weeks, gets used to his new routine and new school, I doubt if he would mention his proctor mother. It's kind of sad, but really is true. I see him 4 times a year and sometimes I think he recognizes my car or house more than me. Once I'm around him for an hour or so he seems to remember me more.

Well ladies, I could keep going on all night talking about this. But I really do need to get some sleep.

Happy Dreams to All! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Get some rest! We are all here for you! :grouphug: Goodnight Alison.

No, the boys were watching a rental movie and I didn't even think about it. Was it really funny?

I didn't think it was as funny as the other episodes. Since there were only 2 green monkeys left, the yellow monkey team had to vote one member of their team to join the green monkey team. The show mainly focused on that and the elimination round.

Interesting. Wonder if things will even out, or if they'll still be eliminating green monkeys. :confused3

DH just woke after sleeping fitfully due to some heartburn. :(

Gonna go talk with him and make sure he's OK. I need to get to bed anyway, of course, I'm up waaaaaay too late as it is! :rotfl:

Good night, kids! :cloud9:

Last night my bf did not ride through the canyon (thank the Lord!). He rode around the block and he said he was going really slow but his front tire hit a small rock or bump and he fell slowly to the right side. He wasn't hurt and his bike wasn't damaged, but he have a small cut one one of his fingers. I put hydrogen peroxide on it after he washed his hands and put some polysporin on it.

That's not good. :( I hope your DH is okay. :flower3: Goodnight Alex. :cloud9:

Ali, has your sister considered getting a custody evaluation? she (your sister) can be tested and show she is fit...if she uses one the courts already uses there it will really tick the proctor monster off because they usually have a few favorites they use KWIM...the test is (in ky) 400 questions long if I remember correct...(I requested one when my x decided he wanted to TRY and take my kids....and it helped me)
I also had my kids visit my own doctors...it was put in writing the horrible things that were being said about myself and what was being threatened to be done in writing when the children told the doctors....my relationship with my children was being damaged....as soon as it was in writing by therapists at childrens hospital it quit when the kids would visit the x....he was also warned by the courts if it continued that it was a violation of court orders

She can ask for his med lists(times of days and so on) based on the fact she needs to be informed of what he is taking so he isn't given anything that is over the counter that could react with it...for all you know the one med. is not to be given in the day but if it is supplied then you may have something to watch for...(the sleep med that she may be giving him when it isn't the proper time)...

My nephew is "special" and we have a hard time with him...and you do learn from the doctors what medicine will do what and at times are told if he gets out of hand go ahead and give this etc....but if it isn't on the bottle there is explaining to do....

I would also still consider the blood work thing...it can show levels of the drugs in his system....

This childs relationship with his mother is being violated....why can't your sister see if she can get it moved back to florida since that is where the order took place??(if I am understanding correct Florida gave the Proctor Monster guardianship)

Also, when she would have her son for the long visits did she take him to Florida or did she stay there?

I really feel for your sister...it is an emotional mess to have to deal with not to mention the expense...it was over 10 grand for me to fight to keep my kids ... and I was giving up for nothing...

I am so tired...Mon.eve we were out till after 11 and we had to get packed up, showered and so on to get the bus to the airport ..the bus picked us up at 4:30...ugh....I still havent unpacked everything....now I have to get packed up for the long weekend we have planned...then my birthday we are leaving for 4 days....

The baby was very good on the flight down...but on the way back my sister was put in the rear of the plane and she was so bad...she was crying and trying to grab the people around her....we were up front and would look back and see it...little stinker...
