Good Morning!!!!

Rise and shine!!!:goodvibes

Today I am helping a friend do a little decorating for a wedding, coloring my hair, giving myself a pedicure, and eventually going to the wedding.

Have a nice day!:flower3:

Ok I just got my cake done. Trying to figure out where to put the Happy Birthday to so and so. Its for 2 boys ages 2 and 3.

I cant take credit for the idea. I just expanded on it. Mine was to have a monster truck smashing over a flower bed but I saw a cake with a ramp and hot wheels cars under it and had to use that.
Man... my boys would have thought that was the best-est cake ever!!!!!

Did you get to charge for it?? Make some moolah???

You have the knack Shawna. It looks fantastic!!! :cloud9:

Thanks Melody!:goodvibes The boys last night really loved it.

She paid me $35 for it.

today Morgan has an hour of hip hop and then I am going to clean my moms house for her. Maybe try to sew after that. :confused3 if I get my nerve back! :lmao:

I'm getting really excited about going camping in 2 weeks. :cool1:

We've got 3 weeks til school starts and I really need to start getting their things together. It takes forever for Morgan to pick out a backpack.:lmao: Jake is stressing about it too since he never had to. I told him most kids just go into the store and pick one they like and not drive everywhere on the planet looking for whatever she has in her head. He said "Oh, then I want a superman one" Done, end of story. I love boys! :rotfl2:

Oh last night I forgot to tell you all that Morgan was rehearsing her solo dance. Well, she does this triple pirouette and lands them in the middle splits with her face down. Anyone who has seen dance has seen this move. Its new to Morgan. So she did the dance for Jeff and he freaked because he thought she fell on her face after turning. :scared1: He jumps up and runs over screaming her name. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: She's like "daddy get out of my way I'm dancing" :rotfl2: Then she got all upset and had to start over because he interrupted her. I was crackin' up. He goes "Holy Cow I didnt know she could do that I was sure we were going to the hospital":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good Morning Hyenas!! Busy weekend, my sister is here. We are headed out to go sailing this morning (garage saleing that is). Tonight we are babysitting my nephews, so will have a house full of boy!!

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow, but I'm sure we'll find some kind of trouble to get into!! Who'd a thunk that after spending most of my life fighting with my sister, that we'd end up friends and have so much fun together! :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has an Awesome Day!!

P.S. Awesome cake Shawna! DS's birthday is Monday, can you make a cake and deliver??:rotfl:

Good job Morgan!! :dancer:
And don't you just love Daddys!!!

We're going camping in a few weeks also, to the beach near Santa Barbara. Where are you going again? We leave on July 26th. How about you?

Next week Wednesday we are going water skiing for a few days too. We stay in a run down resort,:snooty: but it is still fun. The grounds at the resort are nice, but the rooms are the pits lately. But it is worth it to us. :yay:

So you made $35.00 for the cake. Not bad, but she sure got a good deal. Eventually you should up the rates. :cheer2: You need to charge like the "Ace of Cakes" show. I'm sure you have seen it. I wonder what they charge for a cake? :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

OMG, that's hilarious!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I mean, your poor DH! :lmao:

It reminds me of the time my dad noticed a bruise on my eyelid and freaked out. It was purpley, and (I'm sure I've told you guys this before) caused because DH (my boyfriend at the time) sucked on my eyelid... it was a hickey! (Yeah, it was weird, and he had no idea what possessed him. And then when we saw the bruise... )

OK, so I finally got my dad calmed down and convinced that it really was just a hickey, not because DH popped me in the face or anything.

Then the next time we visited my parents, my dad flips out about a cut on my face! "What cut?!" "That big scar down your cheek! WTH happened???" "I don't know what scar!!!" I went running to the bathroom and looked, but I didn't see anything... except a series of tiny acne scars that ran in a line... Oh... From afar it could look like a long cut.  :lmao:

Guess he was a little jumpy after the eyelid hickey thing. :rotfl2:

But after the Thanskgiving turkey chasing DH across the deck, all was forgiven. It's been our typical abnormal family ever since. :rotfl:

What I hate is that DS7 will love the first one he sees, and beg and beg and beg for it. The first year I bought it, knowing it was a piece of crap backpack (all vinyl), but he was gonna love it and besides, he's only in kindergarten, not like he needs a heavy duty one, right?

Well, a week or two after I bought it, we went to another store and he found one he loved there. He begged and begged and begged, and I said, "honey! I already bought you one, remember?" "Oh. Yeah. But I love this one even more! Can't I have both?" "No!" "Can I have this one instead of the other one?" "No!"

And of course, being a cheapie backpack, it had rips in it about halfway through the school year. It just made it to the end of school. I was annoyed, because there were nicer ones that were better quality and cost maybe $5 more, so I vowed not to get the cheapie ones again.

So I do literally drive him around to several stores to make sure it is The One. And sturdy enough to make it through the school year. :sad2:

OK, time for me to scoot. My mom and DSis are coming up today for my mom's birthday. We're going out to lunch and then visit in the afternoon (maybe shop a bit) while DS4 naps, then will BBQ dinner at home. :thumbsup2

EXACTLY!!!!!! Amen to that sista!

If only we lived around the same place we could have carpools for backpacks! :lmao:

Awe!!
That was a nice gift! :goodvibes Now go buy some good shoes! j/k

Do you ever put your old purses on ebay? My DIL is selling a Juicy purse right now on ebay.

:lmao: I know! I saw his mom today and we chatted with her for a while at her restaraunt (it's only open for banquets now). His stepdad walked in and made a grunting noise at us. :sad2: The guy is a douche.

This morning my bf had called a motorocycle shop in Ventura. They had the motorcycle he wanted in stock. It's a green Kawasaki and they had just received it earlier this morning. My bf rushed to get it. I have never seen him in such a frenzy! :rotfl2:

We raced over to the shop and it was still there. They couldn't hold it and said it was 1st come 1st serve. Someone had tried to purchase it but had poor credit and did not pass for the financing.

My bf walked into that store, took one look at it and the gentleman (some Brittish guy) said: "How can I help you sir? You like this bike?" "Yeah, I had called earlier. This is the bike I want! Woohoo!" He sits on it and says: "So...where do I sign?" You should have seen the shock on the salesman's face!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

My bf passed and has really good credit. He bought the bike and it took less than an hour (it's not like all the paperwork that goes into buying a car). They are delivering it in less than 2 hours and he's super excited.

We ate lunch at Red Lobster, went over to Fry's Electronics, went to Cycle Gear where I bought a cool Ogio hydration backpack. Then we went to TJ Maxx and bought socks and then Famous Footwear. I bought 2 pairs of shoes because they are having a sale: buy one get one half off. Here's what they look like:

Woot! The bike is here and my bf is putting it away in the garage. He's happy as a clam. :teeth:

hi guys,,,,i am super tired...I helped my sister with a yardsale..we were up till 3 am setting up her things, and then all day in the humidity...then we got in the pool and stayed there.....

Alex, I was reading over the pages since my last post...and wow...that is so true and ...well...thank you so much for saying that...it means much...you are right...my heart says ...don't hurt her....but as you said I didn't do it...

She told him....her hubby is still there..so I don't know what will happen....but....I do have a little news...I was told her aunt also saw her out and that is where it came down....she went to her house and demanded she tell her daughter (the oldest one) that she ruined her life...WOW...

Her aunt called her some nasty names and so on.....(our other best friend called me and told me what was going on...

DH is now on vacation.... so we have a date with a movie...and some popcorn but he fell asleep...that is ok though ... because I am drained..

hI guys.

We went out like normal people tonight and went to see Hancock. We put the kids in the playcenter while we watched it. Boy that was a great movie. I just love Will Smith and Jason Bateman. Charlise Theron was good too.

There were some good one liners in the movie that I see dh and I using with eachother in jest. Not for kids though. It was really funny.

I'm glad that your DH didn't have to do anything then. Wow. It was stressful enough just knowing about it, I'm sure. I hope your friend can turn her life around and save her marriage.

Hi, Shawna!

Cool! I want to watch Hancock. I'm planning to watch that or Wanted tomorrow.

BTW- your car cake was off the shizzle!! :smooth: :thumbsup2

Hi Alex! How was your day? My bf and I bought Be Kind Rewind and are watching it. We saw it when it was in the theatres and it was funny. :rotfl:

Last night I went to bed around 11. As I was flossing and brushing my teeth, DH woke and stumbled out of bed. He muttered something and I said, "What?"

He said, "Where's DS4?"

I said, "What do you mean where is he? Isn't he in bed with you?"

"Nope." So he wandered down the hall, then came back with a smirk on his face. "Ohhhhh, that is just the cutest thing! He's sleeping with his big brother!"

Naturally I had to go look. DS7 was mashed up against the wall, DS4 curled up in a ball on the other side closest to me. Sometimes they are just so darn cute... :lovestruc
