I have lived here pretty much my entire life and I have never been to Ruby Falls..lol

My DH's company is thinking abut relocated us to Chattanooga area. I am on the disboards a lot and I don't see a lot of people from that area. What if Chattanoogaens don't like WDW . Well I know that can NOT be the case. I was wondering if anyone lives there? And what are the goods and the bads of the area? We have lived in WI our WHOLE LIVES . I know some dissers have strong view points so give it to me I think I am ready . Thanks!

Don't be worried much, you'll be fine. Maybe you can encourage people living there to try the magical experience in WDW. For sure they will loved it.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but can anyone recommend a good hotel in the Chattanooga area for an overnight stay say for around $75 a night. We will be drining thru from KC in June to WDW.

If you will stay on the outskirts of Chattanooga you are very likely to find a nice place for 75 or under.. here are some rates at the mall area which would be the Shallowford Road exit 7..

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn right off of the Shallowford Road Exit several years ago, and it was only $39 for a weekend night. The rooms weren't anything amazing, but they were clean and the bed was comfortable.

We have a Cracker Barrel here in Kenosha (Wisconsin). You guys are making me LOL about the Cracker Barrel We live about 10 mins from it

We are coming down in June to check out the area and we can't wait, again thanks so much for all the helpful information. And we just might be there to stay soon!
