ya know.... the ads at the top of the threads??? Those Crocbands keep catching my eye.....

They aren't available til October....boo

but as I was finding that out.... I saw that crocs.com is having a sale.... buy 1 get 1 free (selected styles) with FREE shipping!

Needless to say.... I have a pair of Mickey Mouse crocs and a pair or Cleo sandals coming my way

Well...I DID need to find a pair of 'inclement weather' shoes.... since Jen has not had the best weather luck the last 2 trips.... soI felt I should be prepared

Thats my story....and I'm sticking to it!!

LOL.... you totally enabled yourself based on freezing cold temps in January and rain in May LOL!!! Something tells me we won't have to worry about the freezing cold temps at least in Sept!! I can't wait to see your shoes...speaking of which I totally ordered me another pair of crocs two nights ago LOL...I love my Malindi's so much I wanted another pair like them so I ordered the Olivia LOL!!!!!

Awww thanks!!!! Yes the pjs were a great deal!! I can't wait to snuggle up after a great Disney day in my Disney PJs!!!

I can't wait to celebrate our birthdays together!!

Yes I have a lot more to post...I'm going to update tomorrow in honor of another DISer who is going at the same time who's 1 month deadline is approaching. She'll be choosing our Hidden Mickeys for us...who is it...guess you'll find out tomorrow!

LOL...I can't even begin to imagine how much I'm going to gain on this trip. Paula and I are going to need to walk walk and walk some more around the parks!!!!!

I just have to tell you something that happened...(I think it is also an indication that I may have a DIS addiction...)

During the summer when I've been letting the kids sleep later-I check out the boards while I'm waiting for them to wake up (David sometimes comes in half asleep and snuggles while I'm doing this...)

Rather surprisingly while I was reading your last update...he murmered "oh-That's JenJolt's message..."

and I asked "how do you know JenJolt" to which he responded-"Oh she's the nice Disney lady who travels with the gnome, Nobby...-she must be fun if she has a gnome... she also knows Charleston Princess"....

The child has been apparently been reading over my shoulder when I didn't realize it...- I mean I know he can read-I just never assumed he was reading my DIS posts...

So you have a little fan in my house; cause any lady who travels to Disney with a gnome named Nobby must be fun...

Chapter 14: Jackie’s One Month Celebration and EPCOT Must Do’s!!

WOOT!!! My PTR is all about celebrating…celebrating what you might ask!! Well Disney, birthdays, and great friends!! This is why tonight’s PTR is dedicated to a very special lady…Charleston Princess or as I call her Jackie (or CP LOL)!! You see Jackie has decided not to do a PTR of her own and it didn’t quite seem fair that she didn’t get to celebrate her one month milestone in all its PTR glory, so I’m going to throw a party for her!!!!! As many of you know this trip is filled with a lot of very special DIS meets!! Jackie and her DH will be coming down closer to the weekend and enjoy EPCOT’s Food and Wine festival in all its yummy goodness!!! So in honor of her love EPCOT, I am going to share with you the must dos of Paula and I for EPCOT!

But first let’s discuss merchandise or as I affectionately call it…retail therapy for the Disney soul! Well as Paula posted earlier this week she purchased a couple of pairs of crocs, while unbeknownst to her I also purchased a pair of crocs LOL!!!! I also purchased a black tee from Fashion Bug with a very special shirt design in mind…just in case you were wondering I had a lovely DISigner make me a t-shirt design for the “Quiet Friend.” Now I just have to figure if I’m going to be brave enough to make it myself or ship it off to Leslie to make for me LOL…stay tune for further developments on that!

Speaking of Leslie….I received a very special gift from her this week. Once upon a time while browsing through the many threads of merchandise on MeMom’s thread I came upon a very nice Disney Halloween bag that she had purchased at the Disney store. Well I fell in love and realized that the bag would be perfect for trick or treating during MNSSHP. Then it hit me I have no Disney store nearby and I was sad….until last week when I got a package in the mail. That’s right, Leslie, was so kind and went and purchased the bag for me…she is amazing!! (I promise pictures in the future of the bag, I really do LOL).

Alright so let the fun begin!!! Our EPCOT Must Do’s

Paula’s Must Dos:

• Soarin’ (She didn’t get to this on her last trip, so we won’t be missing it this trip)
• Test Track (Cuz she loves her thrill rides)
• Spaceship Earth
• Illuminations

Aside from that she’ll take whatever wonderful things come her way!!!!

Jen’s Must Dos:

• Soarin’
• Test Track
• Mission Space: Green Side ONLY (because I might or might not enjoy watching Gary Sinise…I refuse to admit or deny this)
• Spaceship Earth (okay side note here: I was reading my Hidden Magic book the other day and they mentioned if you wanted a special surprise take a flash picture of the dark wall opposite the caveman scene, now one of my cardinal rules at Disney is to NOT take flash photography where its prohibited, but I’m dying of curiosity…whatever should I do LOL).
• One KP Mission (I’m dying to try this)
• Explore the stores in the country (I would love to look/really look in the stores).
• Pick a Pearl in Japan
• American Adventure (MUST DO!!!!!)
• Illuminations

So my list was WAY longer than Paula’s so hopefully she won’t mind me dragging her around at a very leisurely and fun pace through EPCOT LOL!!! Our full EPCOT day also includes lunch with some mighty fine future husband prospects for C and dinner at the Yachtsman (steak here I come LOL). And yes I will be having crème brulee twice that day, just because I can LOL!

Alrighty guys…let’s talk Jackie’s choices for our Hidden Mickey Countdown!! Jackie is at 1 month today!! I’m at 24 days today and Paula is at 27days!!!! So I talked to CP last night and asked her to choose a movie and a ride she would like to see!!! And her choices were…drum roll please…

You can find a Hidden Mickey in this movie during the “Be Prepared” song! Right before Scar is about to sing there are four puffs of green smoke. Next time you watch take a closer look at the third puff of smoke definitely a side view our favorite mouse!

THE JUNGLE CRUISE​

One of the many Hidden Mickeys in this ride can be found inside the Cambodian Temple ruins. While inside notice a very large spider to the left of the treasure pile. Take a closer look to the markings on the back of the spider…notice anything special????

YAY!!! It is officially September and I can say I’m going to Walt Disney World this month!! I’m sure this month is going to fly by and I know I still have a very long to do list however the urge to get a move on hasn’t hit yet, must be the being back at work thing!! LOL!!! Next time we’ll discuss to do lists and our Animal Kingdom must dos…and then Food and Wine Festival…of course we have to talk about that!!

I think you should most definitely take the picture on Spaceship Earth. I am sure you won't get kicked out or anything. And it's at the beginning of the ride...DO IT. LL says so.
