Chasing a Dream: September Trip Report Update 12/11 FINAL THOUGHTS/TRIP FAVORITES

I have been very lucky, I have won so many things off the radio over the years I can't even keep count! It didn't work at Disney last year though! My son has had a blast this summer, his daycare went on field trips at least 2x a week so it is really going to be hard to get back in the swing of things for him!

12 DAYS!!!!!!!

I wish I were able to be fully excited about the trip - BUT with all this tropical weather, I am going crazy!!!!

But on to happier thoughts.... 12 days!!!

This morning on the radio Hunter won tickets to Disney on Ice coming in December!! They were doing "Jokes for Little Folks" and he won. This was our third time trying this week so I was soo happy that he won, this was the last day of the contest!!

I'll be posting alot of pics this weekend, a lot has been going on this week! First day of school, Rachel's first ballet/tap class (sooo cute!!), and Hunter's first football game (scrimmage).

I hope everyone has a wonderful & safe Labor Day!!!!

As promised, here are pics from our busy week this week:

The first day of school:

Walking down the school halls to 2nd grade (a little blurry but I just love the picture! Can you tell we are Panther fans around here? )

And Rachel had her first tap/ballet dance class Wednesday night. She did so good, I was so proud of her:

And then last night Hunter had his first scrimmage game:

This afternoon they let us leave work early so I had to make a stop by Wal-Mart and while I was there picked up more Disney shirts..

This is the back of the Tink shirt that my DH would say is a great word to describe me!

Now we just need some that these hurricanes will fizzle out and go away!!!!

Those are cute shirts from Walmart. I especially like the Tink one . I haven't seen those at my Walmart. Have gotten shirts for everyone in the family there though.

Don't waste any more time worrying about Hurricanes. Worrying is not going to do anything for you. I love all the people who say no little HURRICANE is going to keep them from enjoying Disney. Your time's almost up!

Hi Tammy! Just came upon your report tonight and I am enjoying reading about all your planning, sounds like your trip is going to be great! Your kids are too cute, even with the hacked off bangs. That happened to me as a kid except I was the one who did the hacking.

The pictures are great! So cute! I have to tell you that Lucas had his hair cut on Monday and he got a hack job! I was soooo mad! Not easy being 13 and going into school with a rough looking set of bangs. ugh!... I love the shirts you got. I'm going to be near my walmart today. I'll have to stop in and check them out!

Thanks. I know, I try not to worry since there is absolutely nothing I can do about it, but I find myself checking those weather sites anyway! But we'll make the best out of it, I may need to hit the Dollar Tree to pick up a few more ponchos though!!

Thanks for joining in and posting!! Yes, Rachel has had a hold of the scissors before too, luckily it wasn't too bad! The sad thing is when she was 2 and cut her own bangs, it didn't look as bad as when the beautician did it!

Thanks Dana! That is awful about Lucas! At least when they are small like Rachel its no big deal, but I'm sure being in middle school with a hack job is not a good thing!!! Did you find any shirts at Wal-Mart?

I didn't get to walmart yet.. but our Disney Store had $5 shirt sales going on so I picked up matching "pooh" shirts for me and my friend!

I'm glad to hear you are going to be ok with the other storm coming. I heard on the weather channel that there are two more forming way out in the Atlantic! I am scared!!! I am going to sprinkle some pixie dust to help protect us!!

for the $5 disney shirts!! I miss our Disney Store, it closed, so now all we have is the outlet 1 1/2 hours away! I know, what is up with all these Tropical storms this year??!!! I am very nervous, and even though it would be fine to rain, I can't help but thinking about all the good photopass pics I was hoping to get! I'm sure they won't look too good with all of us looking like drowned rats in sweaty ponchos! I keep telling myself it will be fine, we are going to have perfect weather, and we are going to win something from the Dream Team too! You think??

Yes, my son is 5 and he is in Flag football for the first time. We are such a football family we got him in there as soon as we could. His first game is Saturday but so far he likes the practices. we will see. I think it will be a great sport for him since he's already trying to turn it into tackle.

My daughter is 8 and has been dancing since she was 2. She is a competitive dancer so we are nuts with that but wouldnt have it any other way right now.

Thanks! I did go to weather.com and saw with Fay it was only a couple of rainy days and it went right thru Central Florida, so we should be fine! I will be over soon to check out your TR!!
