Does anyone know if Chase recognizes when I pay my disney package balance, is that considered travel so I get 2 points per dollar or just 1 point per dollar?

I know that iyou booked thru Disney, it codes as travel. I don't know how it codes if you book thru one of the online sites like Expedia or thru a warehouse TA like Costco.

Solid breakdown of what Chase considers 'travel'. I was pretty certain none of my Disney specific stuff counted, even hotel, but I could be wrong on that. I just remember being upset because it was coded as Amusement Park or something
My Disney room reservations always code as travel on my Chase Sapphire. I don't book packages though. Not sure what those code as. All room charges at the resorts also code as travel.

I used a different card when I put down the 200, but I just got the sapphire pref card and will pay off the remaining 7K and curious if we'll get 2points or 1 per dollar, those points will then be used to pay for the flights. I guess we'll find out in a month or so.
Always coded as travel for me. And When we are there? We charge everything ( snacks, souvenirs, restaurants) to the room so it will code as travel too.
