Charmed - The TV Show

DD12 has recently discovered Charmed and I'm hearing it 24/7. Can someone give me a little background on this show? How many seasons has it been on? Is it still on or just in syndication? How many seasons so far? I got the first two seasons on DVD and I saw three and four were available. Are there more than four seasons? Thanks!!

Charmed is currently in it's 8th season. You can find reruns of older episodes on TNT every evening and in the mornings (Depending on your time zone).
They show them in order. This is one show that it is important to see it in order (somewhat).

I started watching this show on TNT about 9 months ago and have seen them all up to I think the end of season 6. I don't have the WB on my direct tv so I can't watch :-( Will have to wait until TNT gets the episodes to watch them.

Background: 3 sisters come together after their grandmother passes away. They then learn that they are witches, not only witches but the "Charmed Ones" the most powerful witches...For the first few seasons they fight evil. Than Shannon Doeherty(sp?) became too much of a pain, so they killed off her character! lol She was replaced by a half sister they never knew existed. This is the 8th and final season.

IMO it is a very good show, and I am sad that this is the last season. The final few episodes will start up again this Sunday!

I love this show!

I DVR it on TNT (and the new episodes). Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano are really funny - and it's a very well written show.

I'm also sad this is the last season.
