Charging to room ?

When I check in can I give them cash at the front desk to put on my room key?
I have read that you can do this with a credit card but couldnt find if it's done with cash.
I'm just thinking of last minute questions, it's almost time!

Hi,

I have done this myself as we always put a credit card on the room but I have read here on the DIS that other have put cash down without an issue. Hope you have a great trip.

was no problem for us in Oct. We put a certain amount on our room key when we checked in and just kept track each day on how much we spent in case we needed to add more and to make sure we got the right amount back in return. It was a great way to keep a good eye on our budget and we had no problem at check out! Have fun!!!
