I don't know if this is right place to ask this, but I have a question on charging to your resort room. Can someone explain how this works? I assume your room key is just like a credit card, and you use that in the parks just like a credit card?

Also, I have a lot of Disney Dollars saved up for this trip. Can I give them to the CM at check-in to apply to our room account? I thought that might save me from having to carry all that cash around, and I don't really feel comfortable keeping it in the safe, either.

Thanks!
Lisa

Hi first timer,

As for part one, yes, you give them a CC at check-in and they link your room key to the CC.

I hope someone else can help you with part two, because I don't know the answer!

We gave them travlers checks at check in for charging on our room keys, so yes you can give them disney dollars. :cool1:
