Charging in the parks

My DH and I will be going to the parks at the end of April and I am interested in purchasing an external battery charger for our cell phones. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind is better than another and where to purchase them? Thanks for any information!

I'm partial to the Patriot Fuel+. I use the 7800+ with my iPhone4 and get about 3 charges out of it using the 2.5v connection.

Basically your cell phone battery will be about 2600Mah so one of those size of any battery packs will give you one full recharge or about half a charge for you and your DH. A 5200 one with two USB ports which will give each of you one recharge (or nearly 2 full recharges on one phone, etc)

I use an Anker Astro that was purchased on Amazon. If you want to be able to charge more than one phone I would personally opt for one with a capacity of 10000mAh. That would charge a typical iPhone around 4 times per charge or an Android like the Galaxy S3/S4 3 times. So that would be enough for a couple of phones a couple times. They have larger models if you want to recharge something like an iPad but the larger the capacity the larger and heavier the device. Overall I would probably go with the Anker Astro 3E 10000mAh which is $39.99 on Amazon.
