charging annual dues

I just bought a resale this summer so this is my first time paying the annual dues. I thought I read somewhere that you can charge your dues but on the bill it says nothing about charging. How would I go about charging my dues? I get frequent flier miles on my credit card and would like to earn a trip so I can "go home" more often! thanks in advance for your help!

You can charge your annual dues if you call Member Accounting and tell them that is what you want to do. You have to pay the total amount due for the year if you charge on CC. In other words they won't do the monthly payment plan on a CC, they will only do an automatic debit from a bank account if you want to go that route.

I just called member services about this Thursday. They will accept your yearly dues payments with either Visa or MasterCard only. I was bummed, because I wanted to use my American Express for the points. So, if it is a Visa or MasterCard, you can charge your dues. The CM I talked to said they will keep you on the line while they run the transaction through and then come back to you to let you know it did indeed go through. Hope this helps you!

We always charge our dues, and everything else, (utilities,property taxes,groceries,gas,etc). We just added on at VB and charged that also. You would be surprised how many free airline tickets you would acumulate over the course of the year. As long as you pay your bill, in full, when you get your statement.You can't go wrong!!

I just did the same exact thing. I called member service and charged my dues (for milage on cc also) - Thanks to this board we get a lot of answers. I was a little disappointed though, it took a while to get through. I don't have time to dial, and re-dial. I was about to give up.
