charge at BCV for ship shape health club

My BIL just checked into BCV today. He called and told us they told him it would be $10 a day to work out at ship shape or $45 for the week. Is this policy for only DVC members? When I stayed at the BC as a guest there was no charge for the health club.

Maybe you got the wrong CM, or did they change things?

I'd ask again. Maybe call MS.

It was free this year as well. Probably just someone who was new!

Is your brother a DVC member? If not, there is a charge to use the health club. If he is, then there should not be a charge. We are DVC members and we used it at no charge in June and July this year.

Last year at BWV they charged my daughter. They removed the charges when I pointed out we are DVC.

we were there in aug. and we just showed our dvc card, had no problem, was not charged.
my sister just showed her dvc card and her and her daughter got in without a charge.

i remember reading another post about treating your dvc card like the american express : never leave home with out it.

especially if you want the perks that go with it.

I was not charged this August for my visits.

I was there on 8/31/03 and at first the CM wanted to charge me but then I told her I was DVC and she had me sign in No Charge.

Definitely have your card with you.

We were there in August with my SIL as a guest. None of us had to pay. (Of course we only worked out on our first morning and decided to sleep in the rest of the time
