Last year, we were at the United Kingdom World Showcase in Epcot, and our DD & DS were at the Kidcot stop. The CM signed their autograph books. In our 3 year old DS's, she wrote, "Welcome to Great Britain, the home of Thomas the Tank Engine". Well, DS LOVES Thomas the Train, so I said something about how neat it was that she had written that w/o knowing. In our 5 year old DD's auto book, she wrote, "Welcome to Great Britain, the home of Mary Poppins". And I said, "Oh, and we really like Mary Poppins too!" The mother who was standing in line behind me said, "I think I just saw her outside!"
So we all (including the mother & little girl who had been behind us) went running through the side door into a little garden area behind the United Kingdom building.
And there she was - w/ Alice in Wonderland. There was no one else in the garden, so our 2 kids & the other little girl had some fabulous one-on-one time w/ Mary & Alice.
A couple of days later, we were at CRT for breakfast & the SAME Mary Poppins was there. And she remembered our kids from earlier in the week, and they just thought it was so neat that Mary Poppins remembered them coming to see her at Epcot.
Also, at this same CRT meal, our DS fell in love w/ Snow White. Snow White kissed him on his cheek, and the look on his face was absolutely priceless. True Disney magic!
This was also the trip, our DD forgot about the princesses due to Minnie Mouse. Our 1st character meal was at LTT, and Minnie Mouse was just wonderful w/ our DD who is a little shy. Well, by the end of the week, Cinderella was totally forgotten, and Minnie Mouse had become her best friend. At our last character meal (Chef Mickey's), Minnie Mouse was also really good.
