I have a friend who has a picture of her and her brother, while they were younger, on Mad Tea Party with the White Rabbit.

I'M SO JEALOUS! Not only because she rode with a character but also because I want to meet the White Rabbit so badly!

My question is...have you or your children been on a ride with a character? Like the case above or maybe The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh with Pooh? Have you ever seen someone else have this happen to them?

I think its so cool of them to do that and it makes me sad how I'll never get that chance :/

:goodvibes yup, Max and Goofy rode in front of my 3 on Barnstormer. That was about 12 years ago. It was so cool. But, that was the only time and we've been on about 15 vacations to WDW lasting 7-12 days each. So, I don't think it happens that often. Also, we usually go in the fall when the temps & crowds are lower.

Now we did the "Magic Kingdom Family Magic Tour" for years now and in the past it was a great way to be able to go on a ride with a Character.. After the tour was over you would meet up with a character or two, then most times you would go on a ride with that character. Our favorite time was when we meet up with Wendy and Peter Pan and Wendy had our Daughter sit on her lap during mickey's philharmagic.

*Now i will add if you are looking to do the same...the last time we went (Last Year), not only did they change the ending spot of the tour, but they also cut out the "go on a ride with a character", not sure if it was just a one time thing or that they no longer do it now.

My daughter rode the carousel with Mary Poppins a few years ago--had a nice long chat, I'm told. Of course, dh was with her and I was elsewhere with the camera. :headache:

Well aren't I jealous.... :lmao:
that's so nice of them and I'm sure a great memory for your family!

oh whoa! That'd be an awesome one! Goofy is one of my favorites!!
Yeah I feel like they almost never do that since I've never seen it happen personally

Awe that's so sweet of Wendy! I'd honestly love to do a tour but with my luck and I know they'd probably not do that anymore! I'd love to ride PPF with Peter himself!

In 2004 my DD (who was 4) rode the Carosel with Prince Charming.. She was sitting on the single horse who has a ribbon on it's tail.. and he just popped out of no where, and explained that this was the Princess Pony and only Princesses are allowed to ride it, so she must be a princess, and he is a Prince, so he must make sure she has a safe ride.

She was soooo excited and was telling everyone that she is a REAL princess now.. (it even became her nickname since then she said it so much...) :rotfl:

awe that one is so nice too!! I always wonder how they're able to pop out of nowhere unnoticed and just surprise all the children like that! Its very nice

I saw Aladdin & Jasmine ride Aladdin's Magic Carpets with some kids last year. It was when the ride first opened but it wasn't the first ride of the day because I was just getting off and they were approaching from the exit.

we were there one night in April of 2010 and during the Evening Extra Magic Hours, the park was so empty that Goofy and Pluto were going on the Dumbo ride, since there were so few people wanting pictures.

years ago when my dd was 6(she is now 12) she rode in a tea cup with Tweetle Dee and Tweedle Dumb. Dad and I didn't ride with them, upset our stomachs. But we were able to get great pictures and videos.

My Daughter has rode the magic carpets with Aladdin and Jasmine, Tea Cups with Alice and got to play musical chairs with Alice, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

At MVMCP last year, my DD was completely enamoured with Aladdin who remembered her from when she had seen him earlier that week during the day when she also went nuts over him. He called me over and invited her to come back at a certain time to ride the Magic Carpets with him and Jasmine. She was in absolute heaven! She still talks about it all the time.

I got to ride Star Tours with Darth Vader. He was outside the attraction when I arrived and came right in and rode it too. Too cool!

If you go to my facebook I have pics of my children on rides with characters....It usually is the tea cups....

That's sounds really good! I've never saw characters on rides when I've been there, only saw it on one of their Disney World Sing Along Songs dvds!

Anyone notice any trends in when they've seen the character ride?

When we've seen it happen it was only during the special extra hour for toddlers at MK and it was Alice and the Mad Hatter riding Tea Cups with the kids.

When did the other events happen? During regular hours or special hours.

My kids rode Barnstormer with Goofy once. My son rode the teacups with Alice once and the same son rode Peter Pan with Peter Pan himself once. All great experiences.

On the last night of our trip earlier this year, Pluto rode the tea cups at the same time as us. He was riding with some teenage girl a few elephants behind us. But when we got off we were first to get a pic with him!
