Anyone have a list of which characters can be found in each of the World Showcase countries? Thought it might be fun to find out before we go in October.....watch the movies they are in and talk about why the characters are linked with that country. I think I'll highlight a country like this each week before we arrive in Disney World.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like fun to discuss the characters of World Showcase! Here's a roundup of the characters:

In England, it's possible to meet Pooh characters, as well as Mary Poppins. I heard of Peter Pan characters being there, but I never seen them.

France has Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Also Hunchback characters are there, like Clopin and Esmeralda. Maybe Phoebus and Quasimodo, but they are more unusual. Aurora also has been seen there, too, but less common, I think.

In Morocco, you can meet Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, or Jafar!

In Germany, Snow White and maybe Dopey can be met.

In Italy, rarely Geppetto and Pinocchio and VERY RARELY Jiminy Cricket have been seen.

China has Mulan and maybe Mushu.

England, France and Morocco seem to have characters out more frequently than the other countries mentioned. Have fun studying up for your trip!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Thanks for getting me started! This has really helped. I'm hoping this angle will get the kids more excited about touring WS when we visit....I love it; they don't as much. I'm also planning on preparing a sort of scavenger hunt for things to find in each country when we visit.

Thanks again!

One more to add from HugsForEeyore's list:

In February, we saw characters from Brother Bear in Canada.
