Characters in Flight balloon grounded

Well if it worked for Disney and made them enough money, I'm sure they'll find another supplier. I went up in it and it was pretty cool to see all the views and such. I wouldn't condemn it just yet, it did say they were grounded for inspection, should it pass it'll probably be back.

I have gone up in it as well. It is very cool.

The balloon ride is owned and operated by Aerophile Inc, a French company. Disney does not own or operate it. The balloon in question was deflated and sent back to France. According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel, the balloon was scheduled to be replaced in November. They're now trying to speed up delivery of the replacement but until it's available, this ride will NOT be operating.
