Characters during EMH

We arrive 8/11 in the early afternoon. We were thinking about hanging around the hotel for a bit (CBR) then heading out to Epcot. We figured Epcot since it has the extra magic hours that night. Has anyone seen the characters out during these times. We weren't sure about characters walking around at Epcot especially during those hours. Being that this is the first park we are hitting with our dd(4) and ds (2) we were hoping to see some characters that night. Thanks for any responses.

I've never experienced an EMH so I'm going to bump this back to page one for you. I'll bet some of our veterans can answer your question.

At Epcot we saw Space Mickey and Space Goofy back by Mission Space one night during EMH. Other than that I didn't see any. At MK though there were tons of characters during EMH. So I guess even though your kids sound too young for Mission Space I would head back there and see what's what! Good luck!

We went to a EMH at Epcot back in April, and saw a few characters. We saw Space Suit Mickey and Goofy in front of Mission Space. We also saw Stitch on the main sidewalk between the Fountain area and Mission Space/Universe of Energy. We saw Pluto on the opposite side, on the main sidewalk between the Fountain and The Land. So we saw four characters - we never seen Space Suit Mickey and Goofy before, so we were happy!
