Characters at Goofy's Kitchen

Hey there,

I haven't been here for a while but we just booked a 6 days trip to Disneyland (leaving on July 3rd). We are probably going to do a character dining.

I would like to know who can we see at Goofy's Kitchen?

It's never guaranteed who you will see at any character meal. You may want to take a look at this thread with character meal photos for ideas of who people have seen at GK as well as some other character meals:

But for my breakfast at GK last September I saw:

- Goofy
- Pluto
- Chip
- Dale
- Baloo
- Cinderella
- Jasmine

I like Goofy's Kitchen because it's a really ecclectic mix. You never know who you might run into!

We were there 6/6 and saw Pluto, Dale, Minnie, Goofy, Aurora and the Fairy Godmother.

My only complaint is that some of the characters covered some areas of the restaurant twice before they got to our area. We sat around after dinner waiting for a LONG time before the last 2 (Fairy Godmother and Aurora) got to our table. I thought they were more efficient than that...... Then as we left, there were lots of people in the lobby waiting to get in. It had really backed things up.

At dinner last week on June 7, we saw Goofy, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Aurora and Mulan. We saw Pluto across the restaurant, but he never made it to our area while we were there.

I haven't heard about Max showing up at Goofy's Kitchen, but I did see him at the Minnie & Friends character meal. But again, that can be hit or miss.

Max was there when we were there in December!!! (He was at the entrance to Goofy's.) I don't know how often he is there, but he is there from time to time!

We had breakfast there 6/2, PS for 8:10 - we saw Pluto, Goofy, Jasmine, Baloo, Chip & Dale, and Princess Aurora. Jasmine was hilarious - she asked DS (17) to get up and have his picture made with her and DD (10). He was her palace guard and she and DD were on either side of him looking adorable! We weren't rushed at all. I enjoyed it and my Mickey waffles!

Well, don't I stand corrected

Well, to be fair, that was only either the first or second time I had ever seen Max at Goofy's in a long history of eating there! I have heard many stories of Max being there at other times, but I just figured he was never awake early enough to be there when we were there. That's why I was surprised to see him in December. But, more often than not, there is no Max at the times we eat there (which is always an early breakfast, just like what you did for your b-day, Jazz). He seems to be a 'later-in-the-day' type of character!

That must be the kid in him. He was the last character that we saw come out when we saw him at Minnie's. He must like sleeping in!

Now that I think back to it, however, we saw Max both times we did Minnie's. It's just due to a bad morning I wasn't having fun that day and kind of skipped out on Minnie's earlier than I normally would have so never got a photo with him that day.

We were there for breakfast in March. We saw Pluto, Jasmine, Goofy and Chip n Dale. We saw Baloo from a distance. He walked right by our table and never came back.

Max was at Minnie's breakfast when we were there on June 6. He was adorable!

They don't dance around the room, but he does lead them in a dance down in front of the buffet.

In addition to some of the ones listed previously, we saw Pinocchio when we were there for dinner in October. I think Geppetto was there too but not at our table so I can't be certain.

We also saw Aladdin (separately from Jasmine). He told DD7 that monkeys weren't allowed in the restaurant when she asked where Abu was.

My favorite "goofy story" from there ... I was waiting in a short line to check in. There was a family in front of me with a couple kids. They saw the character out front taking pictures with everyone and kept telling their kids "Look, it's Goofy!" over and over ... despite the apron that clearly said "PLUTO," on Pluto! I guess some people have trouble reading!

I was there for lunch on 6/2 and saw Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Baloo, Aurora and Mulan there. I've seen Jasmine there before as well.
