Okay our last few trip we have only gone to Epcot at night for a few hours here and there. This time I plan on spending lots of time there with our 4 yr old dd. She will be with her 2 and 4 yr old cousins too. I esp want to do morning.

Where are all the characters in the world showcase, do they still do that bus with the characters? Any in Futureworld?

Hints, suggestions welcomed!

Okay, I'll try. Early in the morning, I have seen characters out in the front of the park; they had taken a bus. It was a pretty random assortment. I understand the bus still makes the rounds in World Showcase but I don't know how you'd find out where it was going.

In front of Mission: Space, I have seen Goofy and Mickey, both in silver capes. They also had the longest line for characters I have seen at Epcot.

At the Living Seas, there's a very cute Nemo. It's not really a character, since I don't think it talks and it's on wheels (this thing is very hard to describe), but my DD always looks for it.

At UK, in the toy shop, we met characters from Pooh. I understand that sometimes Mary Poppins characters meet there as well.

At Morocco, go toward the back (where the Restaurant Marrakesh is). There's a room back there and also space in the open for characters from Aladdin. We have met Jasmine, Aladdin and the Genie.

France: I have been told Beauty and the Beast characters are here.

Norway: Has changed the format of the main restaurant so now there are princesses in the restaurant. I don't know who is there after breakfast though.

I should also point out that World Showcase generally doesn't open until 11. So, I'm not sure you'll be able to find characters so much in the morning. My kids love the Land pavillion though, and they could easily spend a couple of hours there and at Living Seas until WS opens.

I hope they enjoy themselves--and you do too!

Norway has a breakfast :) and it's definetly with the princess'. If you have a PS for the resturant you are allowed back to the area.

the info of epcot that week will tell what characters and where. tour the countries there are many characters. most likely find them at kidcot stations or ask about the characters. this is the best way to see the characters besides a character meal

We've seen several characters in the various countries time to time. Yes, Beauty & the Beast are in France. We've seen the Brother Bear bears in Canada, we've seen Mulan & some other female characters at the International Gateway entrance. There are others I can't remember right now, but I love seeing the characters back in the countries because it's not the normal group thing in the middle of the main areas you always see. To me it's just a little neater "finding" these characters.

We've had great luck finding "English" characters in the English garden behind all of the gift shops in the England/Great Britian area. It's the same park where the Beatles band plays. We've seen the Alice in Wonderland characters, Mary Poppins and Peter Pan characters. The characters usually come out before the Beatles band plays. This is our favorite place to go in Epcot. We get fish and chips at the to go window and then go and sit in the park to enjoy them. Also, there's an awesome store in Future World where characters appear at night. If you are looking at the fountain, the store will be on your left. There's a character meet and greet at the back of the store (outside of the store). This is one of my favorite stores in all of Disney. The characters there have also appeared in the evening before the fireworks. At one time, there was also a double decker bus that would go around all of the lands with characters on it. I'm not sure if they still do that.

Remember that in the morning the World Showcase does not open until 11am.

We've often seen princesses tucked away near the International Gateway (the back entrance to Epcot) w/ no crowds. We've also seen the Pooh characters in England. Also, look on your guide map because sometimes the character bus will stop within the WS. We've also seen the Genie in Morroco, as well as Belle, Beast, and the Jester type character from Hunchback in France.

In Futureworld we've seen spaceship Goofy in a small alcove outside Mousegear. We've also seen tons of characters right after you enter the gates. That was twice and both times it was part of the Holiday Bus.

We saw the character bus in an area not far from Guest Relations inside Epcot's FW around 9am in early May. We were at Guest Relations to sign in for our 9:30am Segway tour and we were so early they suggested we go walk around for a bit. We were wandering around near Guest Relations and suddenly the character bus pulled up. The characters all got off the bus so I walked over and got my picture taken with Donald!
