If you have 2 kids, do you tend to have their picture taken with the character at the same time or do you let them have their own picture alone with the characters?

How often do you do the whole family with one character?

we do the kids all at once. when they want to be alone we let them and we take seperate pics. family pics are at the icons of each park (castle, tree of life, sorcerer hat) and of course with Mickey!

Both of our kids pose together with the characters. Unless there is a photopass photographer or a cm willing to take a picture, we rarely get a picture with the whole family and a character.

I try to be quick about picture taking because there is almost always a line behind us waiting to see that character.

We typically have the kids pose together unless it is one of their favorite characters. In that case we let them pose for individual shots. We typically don't do family pics with the characters with the exception of character meals. Usually at the character meals we take pictures for the family at the next table and they do the same for us.

We do the kids together except for a few very special favorite characters then one or the other gets a solo shot. This last trip was with my dd's and my neice and nephew so we had "the cousins" 4 kids in most shots. A few times we split up into two separate families and waited in line that way so it was just the sib's in the pictures not the cousins.

We usually do family photos with the photopass photographers, one in each park and one with mickey - preferabble sorcerer mickey.

We take pictures with both (actually all 3 when possible - 1 yr old). However, while the character is signing the autograph books, I get a picture with the character and individual child. So we end up with individual and group pictures.

If I am buying the CD and paying $99 plus tax.. I let them take one of my little girl by herself and then a family! hey.. that is what I am paying for.. we are always very quick and it doesn't take up much time.. last time we had 312 pics on our wonderful CD!

I usually get all of my kids in the photo, but they all have their favorite charcaters which I let them get in seperately to have their own special photo.

If its 2 kids i do not mind waiting but if it is a family of 8 and they all want pictures alone with the characters and then different combanations like the mom and the son, and the son and the dad, and the mom and the dad then thats when people start getting mad. I had a family like that infront of us at first it was just two people then like 8 people came out on no where, the people infront of us were holding their place, and then they took forever taking pictures. The cast member finally came and kicked them out so other people can also take pictures

We have all of the kids take pictures together.
That's what 'family's' for :goodvibes

We had all 3 of the kids take their pics with the characters at the same time, simply because there were always so many people behind us waiting in line. I had to admit it did get on my nerves one day at Character Connection, when we were in line behind a family--also with 3 kids--who had to get every photo configuration possible (whole family together, then just kids, then each kid individual, then Mom with kids, etc.).
Plus my kids were always so eager to move on to the next character I don't think we could've done individual shots even if we wanted too!
We didn't do any "entire family" shots; next time I think we'll do that a couple of times instead of just the kids in the pic (providing the CM is willing to take the picture)

I always did the kids together, but this past trip we did individual.

You can only buy those blue autograph books so many years in a row, so this year I made my own autograph books. I created them on Snapfish. I wanted to use pictures from our previous year's trip of each child with a character and this year I was going to have them sign the page that their picture was on. Well as I was looking I realized that I only had pictures of both kids with the characters.

So this past trip we took individual pictures to use for their autograph books that I plan to make again. Unfortunately this trip I really don't have any pictures of the kids together. You just can't please me. ;)

Next year's trip I plan to do individual kids and then one of both of them with the characters. It won't take long. We have a system down and we are in and out quickly (so as to not upset the people behind us!)

Every now and then, I too, need to get a picture, but I don't do autographs (I think that is where the line hold up happens.)

I generally do all the kids together, unless it's a favorite character and then the child who loves that character gets an individual shot. We did have an exception in July tho.. We were at Character Connection one night during extra magic hours. When we got there there was no line at all so I let all the kids take individual pictures. I had 2 of my kids and to neices with me. We did end up with a couple of people behind us but no long wait for them either!
