as i'm gathering in my head items to write about in my next disneyland trip report, i began to think about a conversation my wife and i had about our kids interaction with the characters this trip...my kids are 9yo boy, 7yo girl, and 5yo boy....it was almost like it was no big deal to see characters...the only one they really wanted their pictures with was flick and princess atta.....they didn't want to wait in line for mickey mouse at toon town...in fact, the most excited they got was seeing the Mr. Cherry Limeade mascot at Sonic(i love cherry limeades)

aaahhhh....the memories of trying to video and take photos at the same time while my wife would spit in her hand trying to get the boys hair down and my daughter about to burst her mouth open smiling so big staring at cinderella...

anyway, my wife and i were almost disappointed at their ho-hum attidtude (of course don't get me wrong, they still love all the rest of it).............has this ever happened to you??? should we have a fourth child just to go thru the wonderful character moments again???

I am so sorry that your kids were so uninerested in the characters. Maybe as they get older their interests will shift again. I am an adult and I still love all the characters that I did as a kid so I can't quite imagine what they might feel about them. But at least they still love the rest of WDW :)
