As many of you know I am an avid character hunter... and as history has shown, with the temperatures changes we see character changes. So I went to visit the parks to see what I could find...

Thumper and Miss Bunny are now meeting at Camp Minnie/Mickey. I talked to the attendant and it sounds like Koda and Kenai have returned to the forest for good, Kenai needs more practice at being a bear.

Peter Pan is now meeting over in Fantasyland, with no sign of Wendy. You can find him between Philharmagic and Tinker Bell's Treasures.

Goofy and Donald are now meeting together near Country Bear Jamboree to make room for the return of our favorite toys - Jessie and Woody. You can find them where the day parade exits next to Splash Mountain.

It looks like with the removal of Peter Pan from Adventureland, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee have left the MK and returned to Neverland (they are still meetable at MNSSHP).

At the Veranda, the former location for Rafiki (and Timon awhile back) we now find Lilo and Stitch (no longer in Tomorrowland). They are paired well with the Island theme on that side of the land, especially with Aloha Isle there. Rafiki is still meetable at DAK.

I did not visit the other two parks, but I heard word that Marie is now much more common in France!

hi, i'm so glad i saw your post. where in the mk will jessie and woody be? jessie is my granddaughter's favorite and we're taking her to disney for the first time! i'm assuming she'll be available for a picture and autograph? tia

They are at Goofy's old spot next to Splash Mountain - yes they sign.

I've also seen Pluto and Pocahontas up there, but not lately. Flik moved inside to his meet and greet spot on the back side of the Tree of Life.

Do you happen to know if the Stepfamily, Fairy Godmother and White Rabbit are still out in Fantasyland? I'm hoping to find them when I'm there later in the month and I was worried they might be leaving too. October seems to be the time of year when characters seem to disappear at WDW (I think Bert, Kim, Ron and for a while Wendy disappeared this time last year).

When you look at the map - follow the red dotted line indicating the parade route. There is a gate area where the parade exits through Frontierland - that's where you'll find Jessie and Woody. They are out between 10-6, but take an hour (3-4) to go do the parade.

Do you happen to know if the Stepfamily, Fairy Godmother and White Rabbit are still out in Fantasyland?

I did not look for the Tremaines or Fairy Godmother today, but I have not heard anything to indicate they would be leaving. White Rabbit is still there - just met him today!

I did hear rumor that Mary Poppins was leaving MK, she was not there when I entered, but I did not receive confirmation on this so I am not positive.

October and May are the months most changes occur as they switch from the winter and summer schedules at this time.

yes, Marie is a regular in France as of today. I tweeted/FB'd a photo of her as well as Thumper and Miss Bunny earlier today. Wrote a blog entry on Thumper too with a hi-res image.

Thanks so much for posting. thimper is one of our favorite characters! Too cute. Marie is my DD9 favorite character, we look for her every trip 9last time was in May) but we never can seem to find her. I'm hoping these characters will still be out for our family trip in April over Easter .

Thanks so much for the character update. I'm disappointed that Captain Hook is no longer in Adventureland, but so excited that Jesse has returned to Frontierland. Do you know if Buzz is still over near the COP in Tomorrowland?

UH OH-- No more Captain Hook and Smee and Peter Pan isn't by the pirates ride anymore? DD is going to flip out. She is a Peter Pan fanatic. Hopefully meeting Jessie for the 1st time will balance it out- as on her 2 WDW trips she has only seen her in Parades. She is not huge on Toy Story, but she does like the characters. I sure hope Peter spends a lot of time in Fantasyland, because if she doesn't get to hug him, I'm going to have a very sad 3 year old. Thanks so much for the update!

Yep! Buzz is still there with his special meet and greet background!

I sure hope Peter spends a lot of time in Fantasyland, because if she doesn't get to hug him, I'm going to have a very sad 3 year old. Thanks so much for the update!

He gave me a big hug twice today! The line seemed a bit longer because he is in a place where more kids will see him easier in Fantasyland, but he still gave each Guest attention!!

Thanks so much for the update. My DS will be all excited to see Woody and Jessie. And if we could see the White Rabbit, my DH would be excited. Exactly where in Fantasyland was he located? Again thanks so much.

Wow! It's amazing how much can change at Disney in a week! We just got home last weekend. I am so glad we got to meet Hook and Smee before they left and Peter Pan with Wendy at his side. Thumper and Miss Bunny look so cute!!! I wish they had been there when we were.

On a side note, last Friday Prince Eric was meeting at Ariel's grotto just before you go in to meet Ariel... I don't know how common this is, but I had never heard of it before. I was very excited to meet him!
