Character Swap - Progress Thread - COMPLETE & FINISHED

Belle's set looks lovely. I feel a little bad though...I am not sure she is getting an even trade with my DD. She did work hard on her sets, but she is 9 and it does look like a 9 year old did it.

I'd be happy to be in a group with Belle.

Maybe on the next set that she is interested in, I will see if the adults in that group would mind swapping with her. I would have her only in 1 group because she does spend 12 hours a week at the dance studio. I would also clear it with the hostess to make sure they are ok with her swapping with the adults.

Yes, your Slivermist is beautiful!! I have to say it's a ton better then mine. It was my 1st time pp a person from the Cricut & I don't feel that mine looks good. I defineatley have a complex about it. I used markers for her eyes as well, but I don't know if I did a good job sice it was a such a small space to wok with. I hope you like Blake's Mickey pieces. I'm quite proud of him.
He got a chance to punch, dry emboss & stamp.

She does do better than some of the adults that I have been in swaps with on the Cricut mb! She has asked before to be with the adults, but I always tell her that she needs to be in with the kids, because other people might not want kids in their groups. She is quite picky (like myself), and makes sure that her work is something that she would want back. She gets out the adhesive eraser and erases the adhesive goobers, so that it looks perfect!

I'd swap with her anyday!

The pp is a little hard to work with at first, but after a few times, it gets easier. I can tell you that it is MUCH easier to do them at a larger size then a smaller one. We don't do them under 5" because some of the pieces can become so small! There have been times I had to pull up a piece really large in CDS to figure out where something belongs! That's funny that you made the comment about Blake's pieces. It took me quite a long time to figure out what you were talking about... my son's name is Blake, and I was trying to figure out what Mickey pieces he had done, since he doesn't scrap with us! Belle was given permission to do the EPCOT/newbie swap as an adult, so I hope that no one will mind swapping with her there. Everyone has been so nice to say they would swap with her, and I hope that she will do as good a job as everyone expects.

April 3 is our final check-in date. Please be specific with your progress, and list the groups you still need to finish and an anticipated mailing date (If you have not mailed already). I want to have a good sense that you will be able to accomplish your groups on time, or if we are going to need angels.

Mail by date is April 10 and the date all items are to be received by me is April 17.

I'm exactly where I was at the last check-in -- which I knew then, lots of school stuff and a girl's trip to Utah! I soooo want my scrap stuff back out, but I have been an adult and gotten my other projects done first.

My DD and I are starting Spring Break with a scrapping day tomorrow and this scrap and our Sports and More scrap will be done and in the mail Monday or Tuesday!

Hi all! I'm almost done. Beast (group L) is done. Mittens (group H) is mostly thought our & partially cut out. I'll be postal on Monday.

For beast I did a paper piecing and a Title rectangle. It's three layers & has a rose on it & stickled. Not sure how many embellishments it all equals but I like it & think it passes.
