Character Report?

My wife and I will be making the journey at the end of March by ourselves as a much needed break, leaving my DS & DD at home. I promised them I would still try to get as many autographs and pictures as possible. I was just wondering as of late what characters everyone has been seeing? Thanx for the help!

Any particular ones you want to see? When we were there I think we saw just about every character. The queen of hearts, the pinocchio cat, wendy alice peter were all playing musical chairs on mainstreet.

We saw Captain Jack sparrow in NOS. I think the best place to see the characters is on main street, I don't think I've ever been on mainstreet without seeing a character.

Also we learned that when you sit by the CM only doors your bound to see several characters enter or exit there. We had corndogs by the cm only door on mainstreet and we saw Mary poppins and the penguin and the chimney sweeper dude I can't remember his name. And when we were in NOS by cafe orleans we saw Jack sparrow come out of the cm only door.
Don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting hunting them out and standing in front of the cm doors all day, I just thought I'd let you know that we got lucky when we happened to be by the cm's doors.

Here are a few suggestions....
First if you are staying on site you can ask the front desk for some magic for your kids back home. Let them know who their favorites are and they will give you a black and white 8 X 10 that is signed and very cute! Also if you are very polite you may ask to leave their autograph books for a few special autographs done "behind" the scene!
If you are wanting color photos with you for your kids there are posted schedules daily of where to go and who will be there. If you are a Disney Visa Card member you can also go to Ariels Grotto the first hour the park opens and you get a nice private visit and free picture from the photopass people!

I made an account just for this post haha.
But, I live in southern california but I never see the characters that I want. I went two weeks ago and I found out that if you ask the information booth, at the top of mainstreet, you can ask for any specific character that you want to see that day. The CM wrote all the times and the exact places where the character was going to be out that day. It was very helpful because I wanted to see Alice and my friend wanted to see Jack.

We just got back and saw a HUGE variety of characters, we got the Fab 6 (INCLUDING DONALD AND DAISY!!!) all princesses except Cinderella (although I will NEVER, EVER go to the Princess fantasy faire again, more on that in another post) Mr and Mrs Incredible, Sully (picture only, can't sign), Hercules, Kenai and Koda (Brother Bear), Stitch(he started pushing my daughters wheelchair down the Hollywood backlot area), Lilo, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Wendy, Pooh, Tigger, Eeorye, random Pirates (missed Jack Sparrow, due to breaking my camera 30 minutes before seeing him!!! ACCCKKKKK!!!!) Geppetto, Chip and Dale, Jessie, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Push the trashcan, and Aladdin and Jasmine. I think that was everyone, but there may be a few more. We did do three character meals, but many of the character were seen throughout the park. At one point yesterday, Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Donald were all in the entry plaza!
