Character meeting locations...

When we went to WDW earlier this month we really enjoyed meeting different characters. We were looking online and found some decent lists of where to meet certain characters, but some were out of date and others weren't that accurate. Here is a list of characters that we met and the locations for anyone interested (I'm going in the order of my daughter's autograph books, so I appologize if there isn't a logical order):

Quincy - MGM around the corner from the Playhouse Disney theatre
Jojo and Goliath - Same
Buzz Lightyear - MGM at Al's Toy Barn
Mickey - EPCOT character greeting
Goofy - Same
Chip and Dale - Same (we also saw them at the International Gateway)
Pluto - Same
Minnie - Same
Remy - MGM after the Animation Tour (just go in through the gift shop at the end if you don't want to take the tour. Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Mr. Freeze were there also, but the line got cut before we got over there.)
Alice - EPCOT In the toy shop in the UK
Pooh - Same
Tigger - Same
Eeyore - Same
Alladdin - EPCOT in front of Morocco
The Genie - Same (Jasmine was also there a few times)
Figment - EPCOT's Imagination Pavillion (he looked pretty lonely. I don't think he gets many visitors.)
Lightning McQueen - MGM in the Streets on America in front of the SanFran set. (He doesn't sign obviously)
Tow Mater - Same
Stanley - In front of the AK entrance (we also saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto there once)
Lilo and Stitch - AK right before the bridge to Camp Minnie-Mickey
Jiminy Cricket - AK Conservation Station
Rafiki - Same
Pocahontas - Same (She was also at the P&PP w/ John Smith and Meeko behind the Xmas shop in Liberty Square)
Mr. Smee - Across from Pirates of the Carribean in MK
June - MGM same place we met Quincy
Mad Hatter - MK near the Tea Cups right after the park opened (Alice was with him one of the days)
Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable - MGM in Streets of America near the newsstand
Woody - MGM at Al's Toy Barn
Geppetto - In front of the socerer's hat after the parade. (We also met him in front of the Expo Hall in MK)
Mulan - Same (she was also in China at EPCOT)
Daisy Duck - MK in Toontown HOF
Donald - Same
Koda - EPCOT in Canada (the Brother Bear Characters come out at 3PM, while most of the other characters in the WS come out at 12:20 and then every hour on the hour until about 6.)
Kenai - Same
Flik - AK Discovery Island near the ladybugs between Camp Minnie-Mickey and Africa
Suzy, Perla, and Cinderella - MK in Toontown HOF during the P&PP.
Tady Tremaine - MK near Pooh's Playful Spot during P&PP.
Drizella - Same
Anestasia - Same
Foulfellow - MK in front of Expo Hall
Gideon - Same
Pinocchio - Same
Gepetto - Same (also see above)
Capt. Hook - MK in front of Pirates of Carribean
Horace - MK in front of City Hall
Cruella De Ville - MK on the Handicap ramp to the Expo Hall
Belle (Blue peasant dress) - between France and Morocco and MK at CRT
The Beast - EPCOT between France and Morocco
Aurora - EPCOT in the Garden in France, CRT in MK, Akershus PSB, and Toontown HOF in MK
Cinderella - CRT in MK (obviously)
Snow White - MK at CRT and EPCOT in Akershus PSB in Norway.
Fairy Godmother - CRT in MK
Ariel w/ legs and dress - Akershus PSB in Norway in EPCOT
Ariel w/ fins - Ariel's Grotto in MK
Mary Poppins - behind Cinderella's Golden Carrousel in MK and between the UK and International Gateway in EPCOT

Wow, that is quite a list. I don't think we've seen that many characters in our last three trips combined. I did learn a trick on our first trip when DD really wanted to see Cinderella. We couldn't find her anywhere and a CM told us to have a store keeper in MK call the "Chip and Dale line" to find out where she was at that time. We did just that and found out that Cinderella was in Toon Town and we had a great visit with her. CMs will do this for any character. It really saved our trip.

Unfortunately, now I think DD would rather see Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, and Sharpay from HSM.

The best time to catch characters is during Mickey's not so scary halloween party. They are out everywhere. We have great luck every year running into characters in staged areas and by surprise. Good luck.

Thanks for the list! It makes me realize I need to brush up on my Disney characters before our Feb. trip because there were a few names I've never heard. I'd hate to not recognize a friend!
