Character meals?

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this or not but we are planning our first trip for this October with our 4 children. The youngest (7) is the ONLY one that's interested in any type of character meals. From reading on these sites and another one with restaurant menus, etc, I saw that there is a breakfast/lunch/dinner plan with Cinderella at MK. However, the lunch prices were still $45 pp and they didn't offer anything most of us would want for lunch. We really wanted to stay together as a family but I don't want to pay that much money for the whole family when they won't eat the food and they won't enjoy the experience, except for one.

So my question is, is there anything cheaper for my youngest? She said she wants to have a tea party with a princess. I have NO idea if they do that or anything else like it.

So what types of character/princess things are available to get the experience?

One of my favorites is the Princess Breakfast at Epcot, but it is around $40 per adult. This is probably due to having a photo included. You may want to try Park Fare for dinner. The characters include Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Step Sisters.

I may be one of the few who was disappointed in Ankershus (we went breakfast) but love, love, loved Cinderella's Royal Table.

If you don't think that you'll eat any of the lunch, why not consider a late breakfast? I've had all three meals there and they were all delicious. In fact, breakfast this last trip was even better than the breakfast from the previous trip.

We were just there last week and ate breakfast at CRT at 10:20. We have three children...13, 11, 6. I also thought that the 13 and 11 year old would've dreaded it, but I think they got caught up in the moment and really enjoyed it. I know that sounds really corny, but the characters, the atmosphere, everything, is really spectacular. I think they forget that they're trying to be "cool" (lol!!) The late breakfast worked great for our family because it was an am EMH and we were there at RD. Plus we were one of the last groups seated, so it was a very calm and relaxing experience. The dining room was starting to clear out by the time we got our food. It was great! Take your older kids...trust me, they'll be smiling the whole time!!!
