Character Meals

Where is a good place to go for a character breakfast at one of the resorts? Also, where is a good character DINNER besides Akershus??

It depends on who you would like to see. For instance we really like Cape May Cafe breakfast at BC which has Minnie, Goofy, and Donald all in their beach clothes and O'hana's at the Poly which has Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto in their Hawaiian outfits. Another good one is 1900 Park Fare Breakfast at GF which has Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. As for dinner, CRT dinner at MK is pretty good, very pricey if paying OOP and it will cost you 2 TS credits if you are on the dining plan. Also, Garden Grill at Epcot in the Land is also very good, and you will see Mickey, Chip and Dale, and Pluto. Like I said, it just depends on what characters you want to see.

We absolutely loved Tusker House for breakfast.

For dinner I would recommend Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's.

Ohana's makes a great character breakfast. The food is good, you get to see Stitch and Pluto (my favorite), and it is fairly relaxed compared to some of the other character dining experiences we've had.

If the menu appeals to you, the Garden Grill is a great character dinner. Lots of interaction with Chip-n-Dale as well as Farmer Mickey. It is usually a lot less crowded than some of the others.

Our favorite character breakfasts are 1900 Park Fare @ GF, Chef Mickey's @ CR, Cape May Cafe @ BC and OHana @Poly. Our favorite dinner is 1900 Park Fare. I have heard that Crystal Palace is good for dinner but we have only done breakfast.

We love Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for dinner.

The food is very good for buffet foods, the characters are great. CM is the fab 5 and CP is Pooh and friends.
