We are huge Character meal fans!! We have done Ariels, Minnie's & Goofy's. Our favorite so far is Minnie's since we feel we see the most characters & they change up. We are headed back and want to do either PCH or Storytellers. Which one is more fun? Also, who do you usually see there? THANKS!!

I have done Ariel's twice in the past week with the Divas. Ariels starts with guests going down the stairs where they meet and greet Ariel. They then are seated and usually it is the ladies like Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, Mulan, and rarely a prince.

The Critter Breakfast at Storytellers is a more relaxed breakfast with usually fur characters appearing. In November we saw Chip & Dale (they're always there), Meeko from Pocahontas, Terk from Tarzan and Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear.

At Lilo & Stitch we saw Lilo, Stitch, pluto and apparently Daisy was supposed to be in the photo area, but we never saw her.

They seemed to do more kids' stuff at PCH, but what's more fun really depends on your personal definition of fun. I liked Storytellers better, but only marginally and that was because we saw more characters there and the interaction was better.

I agree with Vala in that "fun" is open to interpretation. I have not been to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast yet, but I have done the Storytellers character breakfast twice. Now, food ratings aside, in terms of atmosphere I would not exactly say that Storytellers was a rollicking good time. Not exactly. That doesn't mean that it is....well....un-fun, by any stretch of the imagination. It is just, as Vala said, a more relaxed environment. It is quiet and warm and earthy. Like, for example, at Goofy's - even though I don't think Goofy's is overly wild and chaotic like some folks do - the set-up seems right for characters to roam the restaurant and be zany, and the characters seem to belong there, and are encouraged to be zany. The restaurant seems to be there for the characters to sort of have the spotlight. At Storytellers, it almost feels like a few characters - some of whom you may or may not recognize - just happened to wander into this little cozy place and decided to visit with some customers. It doesn't have the feel, to me, of a 'fun' character meal. You may prefer the atmosphere there more than at the other ones you have tried. It's all personal choice. I like character meals in general, and I like Storytellers as a basic, non-character restaurant at lunch or dinner, for the most part, but for some reason, the character meal at Storytellers does not fully work for me. It could be the characters - I don't care too much about Koda and Kenai or Terk, and the ones I love - Chip and Dale and Baloo - can all be found over at Goofy's. The Storytellers food was good, but it didn't make me yearn to go back there for another character breakfast.

I have a feeling that, on the fun-o-meter of character meals, Lilo and Stitch would probably rank higher than Storytellers. That is not to say that Storytellers isn't worth a try - it's just a different vibe there than what you may be used to at Goofy's and Minnie's.

I really like storytellers. It is so relaxed and fun at the same time. And the food isn't bad either. I saw some pics of the lilo breakfast but the food didn't look overly appetizing to me. I have no desire to try it. Also storytellers will be a much shorter walk to the parks for you! :)

I can't seem to find any extensive pictures of the Storytellers character breakfast food , either menu or buffet (I found dinner pictures, but that's not a character meal) - I keep looking for some on DIS so I can save the link with the other links to character meal pictures I've saved, BUT here is a link to pictures from the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast buffet, which were taken by got2travel. (Were these the ones you were talking about, Krissy?):
