Happy new year everyone!

We are making an unexpected visit to LA in April. I have never been to Disneyland. Living in FL, I have been to the world many times. I am completely naive to all things California and DL.

Are there Character meals in DL? Any type of activity that is Princess related?

Best resort to stay in ?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Regards,

Character breakfast options include:
Plaza Inn - Disneyland (so must have ticket/reservation for that park that day)
Goofy's Kitchen - Disneyland Hotel (also has characters at dinner buffet)
Storytellers - Grand Californian Hotel (dinner does not have characters)
Princess breakfast at Napa Rose - Grand Californian Hotel (only one with princesses, much higher cost)

Does anyone know if the Princesses have returned to Napa Rose. All of the Princess meals in WDW have not really returned. We were there in August. The only one that re-opened was Cinderella's Royal Table, which normally has many of the princesses that walk around the restaurant. Now it is only Cinderella that just stands at the front of the restaurant for periods of time. It is also very expensive. I did not feel like it would be worth it for almost no princess interaction or picture opportunities. Even if the princesses are all there but available for social distanced pictures, my 5 year old would love it.

We really didn't get any princess sightings when we were in August at WDW, as the little "drive By" sightings were not on any schedule to know when we would be able to see them. We did see other characters, Pooh & Characters, Disney Jr Characters, Some pixar characters in a parade, but not much princesses.

We are only going for a day or two, as we thought it could be a nice side trip while I have to go to California for some medical issues at the end of the trip.

The princess breakfast is at Storytellers, I think. DD and I went back when it was at Ariel's grotto. It was so much fun and the best meal of our whole trip :)

Edited-Apparently it is at Nap Rose now.

Yes. The Princess breakfast at Napa Rose has returned. From the reviews I've read things are socially distanced, but patrons get quality time visiting each of the princesses (and there are several on hand).

Friend who did Napa Rose princess breakfast last August. Honestly from her pics and reviews it sounds fantastic. She raves about the food and experiences with the princesses. They met outside on the Napa Rose patio: with garland of flowers in front of the princess as a visual for social distancing.

There were a number of princesses and characters in the parks in August. Out and about in Princess Fantasy Faire, near the castle in the grassy areas, and in DCA near Buena Vista Street (Elsa and Anna)

We had fun with Rapuzel and Flynn Ryder at the stairs and little juliet balcony in Princess Fantasy Faire too!
