Hi,

I have planned a family reunion. We will be a total of 5 adults and 12 children :scared1: so as we will be like a small classroom  I would like to plan the best to entertain them (of course I am sure they will love it!).

We will be in the world for 6 days, and I want to have one character dinning experience per day, so, please, could you help me to choose the best 6?

I have also included restaurants that offers two kind of dinner (f.e. breakfast-lunch or lunch-dinner), with an option for each of it (even when it is the same restaurant) to choose the best option for that restaurant.

I must mention we only have been at Crystal Palace for lunch (it was a GREAT option for us) and ´Ohana at the Polynesian for breakfast ( it is good too).

As always TIA....

I chose CRT for breakfast because we did that a few years ago and it was great. The food was good, the Princess interaction was priceless, and the overall atmosphere was so totally worth everything.....I mean to eat in Cinderella's Castle is so Awesome. I don't know what you are planning on doing for the week, but some other suggestions I would do is

- Goofy's Beach Club Breakfast at Cape May Cafe (this will be our first time doing this and I have been reading lots of rave reviews on this)

- Donald's Breakfast Safari in AK (another 1st timer and again have read tons of rave reviews)

- If you are going to be in Epcot, my family...especially my DH, loves Akershus for breakfast. It is another princess dining and they interact just as well as at CRT but the price is a lot cheaper and we LOVE the cold bar there.

Well whichever you decide have a magical trip pixiedust:

Things to fun about Ohana is family style so you don't have to worry about getting up & down the whole time, Chef Mickeys is loud crazy fun so even if your big group is a little crazy no one will Notice;) But food wise we love Crystal Palace for lunch it is a nice break in the day.

My first choice is Crystal Palace for breakfast--it is our must do every trip. The second choice would be Chef Mickey's. We've never done any of the others. We used to go to the Polynesian but that was when it was Minnie's Breakfast (with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip & Dale); we do not like Stitch at all and we don't like the fact that there's not a huge selection of food since it is family style. We went to Cape May Cafe for the first time this past September with Minnie & Goofy (and now Donald Duck) and it was good. As I said, we've not done of the others.

I voted Ohana's since it is served family style. It would be a nightmare having to help all those kids get their food off the buffet. Chef Mickey's probably has the most variety of characters though, so if the kids are old enough to get their own food I would change my vote. If you have a mix a boys and girls CRT and Park Faire may not be the best option for boys.

Thanks all for help me to choose the best six options for us, I just started making the plans  :cheer2:

I voted for Chef Mickey :thumbsup2

But I would also recommend Tusker and Cape May (as another poster did) :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Cape May might be perfect because it is has a calm atmopshere...Perfect for large groups to enjoy each other...And the food selection is very big.

And I would recommend staying away from H & V...WE really wanted to like it...Our server was soooo wonderful and the food was pretty good...But the buffet selection is very small when you compare to other like Chef Mickey, Cape May and Tusker...And the characters freaked out my kids...They have been visting Disney for a few years now and love visiting with the characters...We do a bunch of character meals for that reason...But my kids did not like looking at the Playhouse characters at all....I think it is because they are so big...Their heads are really big and they do look very "costume" like compared to many of the others...JMO ;)...Sorry...Please don't scold me :guilty:
