character dinners

We're trying to decide whether or not to take my daughter to a Character meal. She'll be 1 when we go. Would it even be worth it? Will she even know who they are by then?

How far into 1 are you talking... Just turned 1 or closer to 2. There is a big difference. You need to determine how she would handle the characters. If the would scare her, make her happy, or would she be indefferent.

We took DD 2 to a couple of character meals... she absolutely did not like the face characters (princesses in the castle). She would not even look at them. However she loved Goofy, Pluto, and Chip and Dale.

On the plus side you don't have to pay for her so determine if you want to do a character meal. If you do then go for it.
