Character dinners at Resorts?

What are this dinners like? Where are they offered? Which Characters? Price/food offered? Any information would be great! thanks

just back from RPR; they had character dinners mon., wed, & thurs. nite (if I remember right) each of the nights was different character. Monday nite we ran into Scooby and Shaggy leaving the rest. Thur nite we ate w/ Olive Oyl and Popeye. It takes place at the Island Rest. 6:30-9:30-- no buffet you order from menu. A little steep for entree prices but the kid's menu is resonable. We only did the one night but it was special. The characters mingle around the rest. taking pictures like at WDW's character dinners. Hope this helps.
