Character Dining Swap--ARRIVING HOME!!

Hi y'all! Just a quick update to let you know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. It was my intent to get these sorted out this past week and mailed to you while DH was on vacation. However, you know how the best-laid plans go! On Monday of this past week, we found out that a dear family friend of ours (an older lady) had been admitted to the hospital with some heart problems and then put into a rehab care facility to help her get stronger, so we took a day and took DS to see her. Then, on Thursday, my mom called to tell us that mom & dad's cabin (where we had just left on Tuesday) had been hit by a storm on Wednesday night. A ginormous tree fell down and took out the entire back side of the back porch, plus did damage to the inside of the house. So, we've been trying to help with that. We're headed back up there today.

All this to say--I apologize!! I'm not holding your swap stuff for ransom or anything!! DH said he'd help me sort tonight or tomorrow night after DS goes to sleep! I am SO sorry!!

Hi y'all! This is the first chance I've had to get back on. Thanks for the support and understanding! The plan is now this (I hate to say it out loud b/c it'll probably go haywire now!!): We're going to pick up more boxes and envelopes tomorrow, and if all goes as planned, sort on Saturday. Then, they'll go on Mon/Tues (DS & I will take them to the po, so it may take more than one trip!).

Good news!! They are all boxed up--except for 2, and that's just because I underestimated the number of boxes I'd need!

I am headed up to mom & dad's cabin to look at it today. DH is off tomorrow, and we're taking all of these to the post office!! That way, we can do it in one trip!
