Hello everyone,

I am surprising my family with a WDW trip in January and my daughter, now 4, doesn't remember her only visit when she was almost 1. I would like to schedule some Character meals with Princesses (my daughter especially loves Cinderella and Aurora). We've been to breakfast at Cinderella's castle and heard about another opportunity at Epcot, but don't know the details.

Any info on the one at Epcot or suggestions on other spots to dine with Princess characters would be appreciated.

Jon

Jon-

The breakfast at Epcot is The Princess Storybook Breakfast at Restaurant Akershus in Norway (they also have a princess lunch and dinner). We had breakfast there last time when dd's were 2 and 4 and are doing it again on 12/7 (they will be 4 and 6). While you will get mixed reviews on this character experience, ours was very posititive. My dd's got to meet Jasmine, Mulan, Snow White, Belle and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). We all enjoyed the meal and the character interaction was great. The princesses even made sure they included my DS who was 9.

The Grand Floridian also has a Cinderella Dinner at 1900 Park Fair which has Cindy, Prince Charming and the Mice and the My Disney Girl Princess Tea with Aurora and hostess RosePetal.

We have been to the CRT several times, but never to the Epcot one. We are trying the 1900 Park Fare...it has Cinderella, Prince, Mice, and Fairy Godmother. Had a friend that did all three and said all were good.

Any specific experience with the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. Looks like this is $200 for one adult and one child to attend.

Jon

Thanks. Great pictures. My daughter will love it. Hopefully her Aurora Halloween costume will still fit in January.

Jon

FYI- altough she's not a "princess", there's a much more affordable afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian hosted by Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. It's Monday through Friday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and costs only $28.17 per child. This is what I'm taking my girls to until I can convince DH to fork over $200 for the princess tea... Seems like a good "starter" tea for a child though if you can't do the big one.

Ok, with my Saratoga Springs res # in hand, I reserved the My Disney Girl's PPTP for our visit in January. I love going in January since it's not so crowded.

I have one question...who the heck is RosePetal?

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Jon

I read that you are doing the tea party soon, please post afterward about how it was! Thanks! I am going to take DD 5 to it in 25 days :wizard: and I cannot wait. We also have her signed up for the Alice in Wonder Land tea.

Never been to this thing (no kids) but from what I understand Rose Petal acts as sort of a master (or mistress) of ceremonies.

We did the Princess Lunch at Akerhaus in Epcot on 11/11. The princesses there were Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, and Ariel (she posed for photos in the lobby when you went in). They then came around during your meal to offer the picture to sell. My one niece asked the hostess "Does Snow White hang out here?" and she said she wasn't there today, but can be found in Germany. I guess though she's there sometimes for the breakfast. Personally speaking, from what I saw, the princess interaction at all the tables was minimal, but maybe it's better if it's not as crowded. It was a picture, autograph if wanted and that was it. If your looking for more interaction, seeing them at their other character greeting locations is probably better. This is just my observation though.
