DH and I will be on the deluxe dining plan in Sept., which will allow us to do several character meals. We have decided to do 2 character breakfasts and need to choose between....1900 park, crystal palace and cape may. Any suggestions?? Remember, we will be vacationing child free.

Cape May is our favorite we are always a group of Adults from 35-80 yrs old. We have always enjoyed the food, character interaction and the atmosphere. We always have great pictures from there.

Have a great time no matter what your choice.

Crystal Palace is a MUST for DH and I for breakfast on every trip. We have not tried Cape May Cafe but will probably do so this year as we have friends traveling with us who have never been to Disney. We like Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner. We are two 50+ adults (and our friends are 50+ who will be going with us this year), and we have no qualms about character meals and getting our pictures taken with the characters.

Thanks for the input....we are leaning towards the Cape May andDH really wants to make an early ADR at CP. I agree that it would be awesome to visit MK before the gates open to the public. Thanks again:thumbsup2

Crystal Palace is a favorite of my family also. Great food and selection plus it is a beautiful restaurant. Both of my children are now in college, but we still have a fun time with the characters. They play around with everyone no matter what the age and you will still get some wonderful pictures of your experience. I couldn't imagine ever going to Disney and NOT having a character meal, even when I get very old.

I am excited...after 5 trips...this will be my first character meal.:cool1:

Well that's a hard question. I love all three of those! And we are an adult only party and found all three of them to have a fun atmosphere and good food.

Which characters do you really want to meet? Each of those meals have different characters so that might help you decide.

Which ones are close to where you want to be that day? CP is great if you are going to be in the MK that day and 1900 Park Fare is just a monorail ride from EPCOT or MK. We usually do Cape May on a day off when we don't have a park planned but it is close to MGM and EPCOT.

I think you will have a great time no matter which ones you choose. :)

CP has become a tradition for DH and me. It started on our honeymoon 4 years ago. We go for breakfast our first morning every trip.

I've eaten at all three places.

We definitely wouldn't do CP. Since you'll be "childless", you may want a more "low-key" atmosphere & I think 1900 PF & Cape May are more "low key" than CP.

DH & I would choose Cape May.
