Character Breakfasts outside park

I was thinking it would be fun to schedule a character breakfast the day we are leaving. Which ones are outside of the park? Which characters typically come? What are the prices like? When and where do we book these?

I'm pretty sure the only one inside the gates is Minnie's at the Plaza. Goofy's is at the DLH, Surf's Up is at PPH, and Storytellers is at GCH. I think that's all of them? Not sure on the characters though.

3 outside the parks as noted above.....2 inside Minnie's at the Plaza Inn & Ariel's Grotto.

Goofy's is large buffet hosted by Goofy. Usually Pluto is there as well. Characters we've seen is: Max, Chip, Dale, Alice, Mad Hatter, Baloo, Jasmine, Aladdin, Brer Fox, Minnie, Geppetto

Surf's Up with Mickey is the only meal you'll find Mickey at. We've haven't been since it switched from the Lilo & Stitch meal but I have heard that Stitch is there quite often. This is a small buffet & not sure about ordering off menu.

Chip & Dale host the meal at the GCH. The characters tend to be the animal ones (I've heard that Turk from Tarzan, the bears from Brother Bear, Mekko from Pocahontus & Rafiki from Lion King) You can order off menu or the small buffet.

To add to the above, Goofy's Kitchen is located inside the Disneyland Hotel, Surf's Up with Mickey is located inside the Paradise Pier Hotel and Storyteller's Cafe is at the Grand Californian Hotel. Of the three, Goofy's will have the biggest variety of characters.

We ate at Surf's Up with Mickey a few weeks ago. Mickey was there. Stitch for sure, Minnie and a few others. I had camera issues so I can't look. The food was just okay. My youngest did the dancing and "surfing" It was pretty cute.
