I am getting ready to call for ps for our character breakfast. Which place would you recommend-Lilo and Stitch or Goofy's Kitchen?? Which has the best food, atmosphere, characters? Also what time do you like to make your reservation for? Is it best to do later so you could do MM first or do first thing in the morning? Thanks for all your help.

That all depends on how much your kid's like lilo and stitch we have done both and had alot more interaction with the characters at the Lilo and Stitch also Minnie is there and Pluto, and Daisy Duck who my girl's loved she danced with them and posed for alot of pictures we got there at 11:00am as people were clearing out so it was not really crowded at that time but they were still putting our fresh food....we enjoyed the whole experience.

We did Lilo & Stitch's breakfast lst year and loved it. So much interaction with the characters. My son got to dance and play games with Stitch. The food was good too. We also booked ours later in the morning to sleep in that day and it wasn't very crowded but we had hot fresh food. We have it on our to do list this year. We did enjoy Goofy's for dinner though. We are not much for breakfast, but if you want to experience them both book the breakfast and Goofy's for lunch o dinner.

We didn't have a very good experience at Lilo and Stitch. We much prefer Goofy's. We saw more characters and they interacted a lot more with us at Goofy's. I also prefered the food at Goofy's. At Lilo and Stitch it seemed like a free for all with the characters. No one waited at their table for the characters to come around. The guests mobbed each new character that came out. No one tried to stop them either. Maybe that's the way they do it there, but we prefer Goofy's where the characters come to each table.

But I do know that many people love Lilo and Stitch so maybe we just had an off day??

No matter what breakfast we do, we always open the park first then head over to breakfast. You can get so much done in the first few hours after opening.

However, when I just booked Goofy's for a March trip, I was told that the characters start leaving at noon. That was new to me. I've never had that happen before. I wanted to book for 11:30 but ended up booking for 11 since the characters were leaving so early.

Thanks for all of your responses. I think we will probably go with Lilo and Stitch (unless someone convinces me otherwise). When I called today it sounds like the characters leave at 11:00 and they start cleaning up at 11:30 so I reserved a 7:50 am one just so we could head to the parks right after. I hope this time works out okay for my kids and that we can be up and attem by then. I hear the walk is not too far from GC to PP.

This last trip we did Lilo's for the first time and Goofy's for dinner first time. We had a great time at both and will them again. We saw five characters at LIlo's and 8 at Goofy's. Food was great at both.

Is there a real difference between supper and breakfast at the character meals? (besides the food of course  )
thanks

Do they have Character dinners? I was under the impression that they only do breakfast. When I called in they told me that the characters will leave at 11:00. Sorry, I really don't know.

Goofy's and Ariel's have character dinners.

We've done Goofy's at dinner and didn't enjoy it as much as we enjoy breakfast. We didn't think that the food was good enough to justify the extra cost. We also didn't have as good of character interaction at dinner. They seemed more rushed.

If you are after character autographs and pictures, Lilo's is the only place we have ever seen Daisy.

Lilo and Stitch hands down!! We loved that meal! Goofy's we had little to no character interaction but at Lilo's they played games, all the characters came around, we got pictures, autographs and it was just so much more fun. At Goofy's we had to hunt down characters and we got like 3 autographs.....one because we asked for it! Yes I know, you're supposed to wait at your table, we had already been at our table for OVER an hour and DD7 (now 8) wanted Cinderella's autograph, we waited until she was moving from one area to the next and asked for her attention, which she gracefully gave us. :)

As for walking from GCH to PP, they are across the street, walk out the gorgeous GCH doors, cross at the crosswalk and enter the restaurant. That's it, very simply and maybe 5 minutes.
