Character Breakfasts in Advance of RD?

Are any of the Character Breakfasts in any of the parks open early enough that one could eat and be done in time for rope drop? Or are they just opening at the same time as RD?

Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends at the Magic Kingdom. You can get reservations prior to the park opening. It's really cool being able to get in before the park opens. You can get really nice pictures in front of a not so crowded castle. There are usually photopass photographers already there to help with that

Al of the parks have them. We generally do CRT at MK, Tusker House at AK, and this trip we are doing Hollywood & Vine at DHS. MK also has the Crystal Palace like the PP said and Epcot has one too.

MK has Crystal Palace & Cinderella's Royal Table. AK has Tusker House. DHS has Hollywood & Vine. Epcot has Akershus.

That's why, if possible, we prefer character lunches and dinners. We have scheduled character breakfasts in the past thinking we would be done by rope drop... and Disney changed hours to open the park early. Sometimes, they are letting people in the park before the posted opening time anyway.

That being said.... we did enjoy some character breakfasts before the park opened and got great photos at HS with the Hat in the background without any other people in the photo. But if my goal is to have little wait time for rides, I would not spend that valuable morning time in a restaurant.

When DD was little we did the Character breakfasts. Our fav was Crystal Palace. I do have some great shots of us in the castle with no crowd. Actually no one but us. We also like Tusker House. I asked her if she wanted to do a character meal in June and her answer was where ever the food is good. I don't care which characters. I guess she is growing up . So that being said I think Tusker House has the best food. Akershus had the best characters. And Crystal Palace has the best photo op.

We have done one at all 4 parks. Makes for some really nice photos, especially the MK breakfast.

I wouldn’t do it if I had just one morning at MK, but we really like the opening show. Only one where we didn’t get photos was at Epcot because it was raining really hard that morning.
