Character breakfast

Have have seen people talk about Character breakfasts, and I have even seen someone mention eating in the castle. Can someone give me the insight on these and recommendations. I have a DD that is 1 year old.

My personal favorite is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. I've gone to the breakfast and dinner, I like the breakfast better... and the best part is that all the characters come right up to your table, no lines to wait on to get a picture with them! They have Mickey, Minnie, CHip and Dale, Goofy, Donald and I think sometimes Pluto. There are other character meals with differencnt characters, I've never been to a Princess one... Crystal Palace in MK is also very good, only been there for breakfast. THey have Winnie the Pooh characters.. Winnie, Tigger, Eyore, Piglet...

I've done both... The castle ambiance was neat, and getting to actually go into the castle is cool... Plus I was on my honeymoon and they gave us the table by the window with the coolest view of the park... I liked it all but the food, the food was blah... The character breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh is better IMO... I didn't like the idea of getting a set plate of food I like to have a choice, and for my money the buffet at the Crystal Palace is one of the best I've ever eaten at... Plus getting into the castle is waaaaay hard... You need to get very lucky as reservation's are nearly impossible to get....

I think Chef Mickey's would be your best bet for your 1 year old. The characters will all come up to the table and give her attention. We took both my DS's when they were a year old and when we look back at the video's it is "priceless".

Crystal Palace is good,too. And what little one does not love Pooh Bear.

As for the castle with the princesses, it is very hard to get into. Being only a year old I feel you would have a better time with CM or CP.
