Character Breakfast?

How does the character breakfast work? Does the day you do it, depend on your rotation? What is the schedule? Is it a certain time? And what characters are there?
As you can tell I dont know much about this. Thanks for any info.

Your character breakfast is on the first day at sea (Key West day counts on the Western) after your first visit to Animator's Palate. The time depends on your dining sitting - we were second seating and I think the breakfast was 9am. The characters were Minnie, Mickey, Chip & Dale and (I think) Pluto.

Is there a character breakfast on the 4 night? I was going to make ressies at WDW for one and was told I shouldnt because I would have one on the cruise, but then I heard the 4 night doesn't. Does anyone know for sure?

We did the Princess breakfast last April with DD3 at Epcot, no it was not rushed at all.

Can anyone else comment on how rushed the CB are on the Ship. I had not heard they were rushed, in fact I had been told just the opposite. (Don't do a CB at WDW, wait and have the characters full attention on the ship.)

I'd love to hear what others thought that have recently been to a CB on the ship.

I was on the Wonder, which does not have a character breakfast. There are character appearances on the ship throughout the day in the Atrium. So, while the characters may be "rushed" during the breakfast - they are wonderful during the other appearances - I was just amazed that the "face" characters took so much time to talk to the guests. During the character appearances, the ship's photographers will take pictures, and you can also take pics with your camera.

On the subjet of being rushed at the character breakfast, It seemed that the breakfast itself was not rushed. However, when the characters cam out, they came within minutes of each other. After they circulated forabout 5-10 minutes, they performed a small dance. Once completed they returned to finish the rounds. Do have the autograph books ready and the cameras on standby. Characters we met were: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale. I hope this helps.

We felt that the characters were rushed to and from all of the tables by the photographers. Character breakfasts at the parks are far less rushed - try the Garden Grille at Epcot (no breakfast, just lunch & dinner) we've always had the best character meal experiences there.
