We plan on doing 2 character meals for breakfast. Which is best?

Does Tusker House have Pancakes? I have seen pictures of Chef Mickeys, but not for Tusker house. I know that Ohanas does not.

Yes, they have Mickey pancakes, a great buffet & a really popular juice. This is our favorite:)

I voted for Crystal Palace because it is our favorite for the puffed french toast and seeing Pooh and friends; Chef Mickey's would be my second choice (although we prefer Cape May Cafe but you did not list it). We've never done Tusker House and we have avoided Ohanas because we prefer buffett over family style and we are not big fans of Stitch.

We prefer CP because it has something for everyone and I personally love the building....the food has always been excellent and the service wonderful.

That being said, we're going to Tusker House in March to try it for the first time and I'm excited to try it! I would love to see pictures too....

It is really hard to choose which one is my favorite. I voted for 'Ohana's but we love going to Chef Mickey's just as much. We also enjoy the other choices too, but these two are our favorite.

We've done them all but Tusker House is by far our best choice for Character Breakfast. The food is good, yes they have Mickey Pancakes, croissant, bagels, the whole shabang. They serve a lovely tropical juice, I've asked but can't remember what's in it. The Characters, Mickey, Donald, Daisy & Goofy really interact and dance w/ the kids and the adults. It's fun. We like it better than Chef Mickey's or O'hanas.

I cannot praise Crystal Palace enough:woohoo: , we had the best time there its probably one of the highlights from our Oct Hol in WDW. Im a massive Eeyore lover, hes been my fav character :lovestruc since i ve been very young. He was the last character to come round & i started panicking i would nt get a pic with him. Well he could see how excited i was to see him & no joke he spent 5 minutes with me. He was hugging & kissing me, i had bride ears on so he went down on one knee with me. He made the people behind us take pics of me & my df with him. My df said i was literally beaming with happiness at my special moments with Eeyore:cloud9: . I left grinning like the Cheshire Cat, i loved it. We was also given a Magical Moments certificate there & a special cupcake, our server was brilliant.
The food was so yummy but i struggled to eat much as i was too distracted to when Eeyore would be coming round:laughing:. My df really enjoyed the food, he went up a few times. They seemed to have a really good selection foodwise too

You ve gotta book Crystal Palace you wont regret it:thumbsup2 . We re going back in May for our Disneywedding/Honeymoon & will be visiting CP twice:goodvibes. I cant wait

I love O'hana's! I'm not a buffet person and I'm pretty sure this is one of the only character breakfasts that isn't a buffet. It comes in handy not having to leave your table and worry about missing a character. O'hana's is a restaurant with tons of windows so it's bright and open in the morning and you can look out and see the lagoon and Cinderella Castle. The character interaction and service has always been very good. Highly reccomend it! :thumbsup2

My Favorite is Ohanas at POLY followed closely by Tusker House.
Both of these have an enjoyable atmosphere and food is good.
I find both have very nice themes.
I love Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto at Ohanas--ate here 3 times
going on 4 this Sept. Ohanas has Mickey shaped Waffles--love these
and POG Juice which I have to drink at least 4 glasses every time I
eat here.
At Tusker House Donald, Daisy and Goofy make fun--ate here 1 time
and will be eating here again in Sept.

Out of your choices, I would choose Chef Mickey's but my ***favorite*** is Cape May Cafe!!!!

Depends on what characters you really want to see. I like a breakfast buffet, so I thought that Ohana's was really lacking in their food choice. We did it once this Oct trip, but won't go back again (my kids are not big Lilo & Stitch Fans).

CP is has a wonderful buffet and if you like Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, then it's perfect. We'll do breakfast here at 8am before the park opens at 9am. The characters are great and usually make it around to each table twice.

Tusker House has a great buffet too. My kids ate waffles/bacon/cereal at both CP and Tusker House. I like the characters in their safari clothes. They seem to circulate slower than at CP.

Have not been to CM for breakfast, only dinner.

This Oct trip we tried Cape May Cafe and that was a great breakfast buffet. Characters are in their beach clothes which was fun. We also tried Hollywood and Vine for breakfast this trip - the characters circulate well there too. I like to schedule an 8am ADR before the parks opens at 9am (Tusker House at AK, CP at MK and H&V at DHS). We get up early anyways.

The buffets are all pretty decent. I would rank the food as CP and Cape May as best buffets, and Tusker and H&V as good buffets. What makes it more fun is the characters you see. So I would suggest first deciding which characters you like best and let that be your guide.

You left off the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus in EPCOT (Norway). The absolutely best character breakfast in Walt Disney World... Pretty princesses too!

My favorite so far is 1900 Pare Fare but you didn't have that as a choice, I am going to CP for breakfast Christmas morning, I can't wait, never been there all this time going to DW, I am so excited:)

We love the CP because of the characters, food & atmosphere. As previously stated, the puffed french toast is great. We've always had great food and service there.

I voted for Chef Mickey's. I love the buffet, the atmosphere at the Contemporary, etc.

No matter what breakfast you choose, you'll have a great time! Have a nice trip!

I did them all last week.

Foodwise, my favorite was Crystal Palace. There were 4 characters, all from Winnie the Pooh Series..nothing really special except the food was really good.

My least favorite, foodwise, was Tusker House. It was seriously gross. Im shocked at the comments above, but everyone has different tastebuds!! The juice was nothing special to me as I usually buy the mixed juices at home anyway. (This one was Minute Maid orange/mango/passion). As for characters, Tusker was one of my favorites. Classic Disney and the only place we saw Daisy! They were all in their safari gear and spent a good amount of time at the table hugging/pictures/autographs etc.. It was really fantastic and I would do it again despite the food (breakfast).

OHanas had a little above average food. Mickey waffles are one of my favorites, so I was happy there! They had Mickey, Lilo and Stitch. The place is so large that if you dont time being seated properly, you may have to wait up to 2 hours to see a character. We were there close to 1 1/2 hours and still many many tables away from being greeted by Lilo. We left without seeing her. Interaction was also quick here and the staff was so busy, we waited quite a while for more coffee, the bill etc.. Im sure on a slower day it would have been a lot better. We had a great experience the night before for dinner at OHanas, but no characters are at dinner.

We stayed at the Contemp. We were woken each morning at 7:00am by the "Celebrate Mickey Mouse" song, which was done every 40 minutes or so. The song still rings through my head a week later!! By the time we had breakfast there, the song and napkin swing were nothing special to us. We heard/saw it a thousand times during the week as our room was RIGHT ABOVE the restaurant. Good food, classic characters Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. Interaction very fast as the place was packed. Atmosphere was like a cafeteria...nothing special.

1900 PF was super crowded. We waited 1/2 hour for an omelete. Good food with Mary Poopins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. This is the only place we saw Alice and Mary, so it was good to be there.

Bottom line...if I could bring the Crystal Palace food to Tusker House we would have the winner of best breakfast!!

Crystal Palace is the best location.
Tusker House was the best food and food selection.

The character interaction at Tusker House seemed more rushed than at Crystal Palace.
