Character Breakfast Opinions

Looking for opinions on a character breakfast. Here's the info: DW, DS3.5, and me. Likely will be at Wishes the night before, so it's not a crack o' dawn breakfast, probably 9:30ish. We're staying at BC. Two choices that I'm looking at 1) Cape May w/ Goofy and Friends or 2) Donald's Safari at AK. We have some other meals already lined up, but want to add a breakfast on this day. Any thoughts or experiences for a later breakfast at either of these would be helpful.

Nothing could be more convenient than strolling out of your room to Cape May then enjoying a relaxing time at the pool. Mind you, I haven't done either of these, but have a Cape May breakfast planned for our next trip.

If you haven't considered this, it is wonderful to schedule a late breakfast at Crystal Palace in MK....kind of a brunch. That way you get the best of both worlds...early morning touring and awesome character breakfast.

I agree with the previous poster - the Cape May breakfast is great! We stay at BC and always include in the meal in every trip. I've also noticed that a late breakfast tends to have less children at it i.e. more one on one time for your little one!

Depends on what you want to do after breakfast...

If you are heading to AK that day, why not enjoy breakfast in the park? Tusker House is right next to the safari, so you can book an 8 or 8:30 breakfast, get to see all the animals in the Oasis while walking through the empty park, enjoy a delicious breakfast, then leave breakfast and walk right into the safari?

If you are looking for a laid back day, I agree Cape May would be better. It is close to your room, then you can enjoy the morning in the sun at the pool.

We did 9:15 breakfast at tusker house last year, and it was fantastic. Food was great, the characters did a parade / music thing, really cute. While DH checked us in I ran almost next door and grabbed FP's for safari, return time was when we finished breakfast - worked out great.

Thanks for the feedback. We are going with Cape May when I book today. But from the looks of it Donald is a favorite as well. Maybe I'll try and work that into our plans for the AK morning, hmmmm. Thanks all.
