We have a voucher for a "free" character breakfast. What I can not find are the times the listed places open for the earliest PS seating. The current character meal locations are the Plaza Inn at Disneyland, Ariel's Grotto at Disney's California Adventure, Goofy's Kitchen at The Disneyland Hotel, Storyteller's Cafe at the Grand Californian, and the PCH Grill at the Paradise Pier.
I would like to make the ressie's this week since were are 60 days out but the scheduling CM can only see a 60 day window which does not allow me to see the earlist times.....

Thanks as always,

Jack

Since there is a overwhelming response, does anyone know if Plaza Inn has dinner and what the menu may be. I am doing this from my iphone so please be patient.

Plaza Inn does have lunch and dinner, but its not a buffet or a character meal. It's cafeteria style. They have pasta, salads, fried chicken. You can find the full menus at DLR at http://allears.net/dlr/din/dining.htm

I think the Plaza Inn breakfast opens before the park does many times (7:30?) but don't hold me to that.

With that said, I think Goofy's Kitchen is the best option, the food selection there is the best IMO

I have been told that Plaza inn opens an hour before the park does. Or it might just be 7:00 am all year long. I'm not sure. But I think you go through gate 1 or 2 and get escorted to the restaurant.

Goofy's is awesome! I loves me some peanut butter and jelly pizza! Yum! The selection at goofy's cannot be beat. It is very kid oriented, but a lot of fun!

I've done Storytellers a few times, the food is good but the buffet does not have as wide a selection as Goofy's does. It also seems to be quieter than Goofy's. So if you are looking for a place to have a relaxing, quiet breakfast. Storytellers might be the best choice.

Unfortunately the Plaza Inn is not open early in the August dates we have in the park, GK may be open at 0700 so well probably shoot for that. Thanks for the responses.

Jack

GK is a good choice, they had everything I saw at storytellers plus alot more

And definitely agree the PBJ pizza is awesome

I'd do Lilo & Stitch over GK again. In fact if I my way I'll never step foot into GK again. The food was OK, the characters were scarce and hardly came to our table at all, it was NOT worth it for us.
