Character ADR a month out?

A friend of mine is going to WDW for a few days before her Disney cruise. They land on the 22-same as me We have all of our ADRs-tried to add them (2 adults 2 kids) to our CP ressie with a no go. The kids are both under 3-one is about to turn 3 and the other one is a little less than a year old. Any ideas where they may get a good ADR? They'll be there for about 3 days-not doing Epcot. She asked for some recommendations. Any ideas would be AWESOME TIA!

The character meal at H&V I actually booked the morning of! It turned out to be the BEST character interaction of the 5 character meals we did.

I'd tell her to keep calling for CP as people are always cancelling. I just got a CP ressie for 11. Also got 1900 Park Fare for a breakfast that was previously sold out. Ohana also had a spot.

I would try Cape May, I've heard it's easier to get than others, and that it's a good meal too. I've heard nothing but good things about it
