Is there anything that does a better job than blistex at healing chapped lips? I've been sick for threee weeks now and my lips are actually in a fair amout of pain from all the wiping.....

Do you have the medicated Blistex? I like the medicated Chapstick.

Maybe call your doctor and see what he/she recommends.

Aquaphor - it's made by Eucerin and can be found at the drug store near the creams and lotions. Our pediatrician recommended it.

It works wonders for chapped and dry skin, including lips. It is a thick ointment, and I use it on my daughter, Emily. Her lips get very chapped in the winter, and she picks them, which makes them bleed. I put it on her at night (when she is asleep, because she doesn't like it), and her lips are 100% improved by morning. When they get really bad, they are usually fully-healed within three days.

This is what I use too. I put it on before bedtime and haven't had chapped lips in years. Can't go a day without my Carmex! :sunny:

A day? I apply this stuff every couple of minutes :rotfl2: I need an intervention and a good 12 step program :lmao:

Neosporin Lip Treatment

Personally, I find that good old Vaseline Petroleum Jelly works the best. I had some severe chapped lips this year and it did wonders.

Burts's Bees Honey Lip Balm, cleared up my lips in 24 hours.

kiehls lip balm. I've never had a problem with chapped lips since I started using it religiously. I got my mother, aunt, and sister hooked as well

Well I have to reccommend the Mary Kay Satin Lips Set. The first step is to gently exfoliate the dry chapped lips, then with the unmedicated lip balm keep them smooth and moisturized!!! Do the exfoliating twice a week and your lips with be smooth again!!!
