channel about WDW

does anyone know what im talking about. i remember last year before our vacation there was a channel that was kind of like the trip planning dvds. it had all the info on all the new attractions and cool things and trivia questions and a giveaway contest. I dont remember what channel it was, i have IO and it was a really high number i remember. Anyone know what im talking about and if its coming back this yeah.

Well, when you are staying in a Disney resort there is a channel that is all about the things to see and do while you are there. If you are talking about at home, where do you live? The travel channel has specials about WDW at times, but it is definitely not all the time. The Disney channel used to have some things about the theme parks, but they really don't do much of anything like that anymore. We just always order the planning DVDs and watch them over and over before a trip ( and spend a lot of time here on the dis too!)

I think the Travel Channel occasionally does week-long prime-time specials about the disney parks, and recently four different stations (Travel, Science, Discovery, and ABC I think it was) did a week-long push for EE. But i don't know of any publically available all-Disney planning channel.

Comcast on Demand had a whole bunch of Disney stuff recently in their Travel section. I even got to watch everyone's favorite "TOP SEVEN" I don't know if it is still there, I haven't looked this month.

How long ago did you see that. I live in Harrisburg so it's most likely similar On Demand listings. Oh man I hope they still have them available.

Optimum (Cablevision) here on Long Island had a channel like that. It was interactive and you could see something on the theme parks, something on the resorts, I think something on the cruise and, of course, something on DVC!
I remember it well and I've been looking for it also, but alas, nothing...


Too bad, I would watch the same thing over and over and over, just like my kids did a long time ago with their Barney videos!

Those specials were on On Demand for a few months - they took them off last month. Not sure if they'll add them again at some point. But there were two "pages" of short specials including, like the previous poster said, the Top 7 from resort TV.

Yeah thats it. It was its own special channel not a special. Thanks to everyone that responed and hopefully Ill be able to find it again.

I would love to get stations with constant WDW talk! lol. I wouldn't stop watching it...and it is there where the problem lies lol...
