Chankanaab or Dolphinaris?

Wait, You're thinking of Dolphinaris now? Now I have to see what its all about. My friends just got back from Chankanaab, went with the kids and did the encounter, they loved the place.

I think I like that you can swim with the dolphins then relax by the pool and have a drink or two or three or...

Or Five Or Six....

The kids want Chankanaab, So thats where we are going..

I am unsure of which to choose.

I was reading up on the Dolphinaris and it doesn't look like there is anything that my five year old daughter can do in terms of age or height. For the ride and swim it states you have to be 10 and for the kids adventure it says there is a minimum height of 4 feet - my daughter is 43" now and there is no way in 5 months she will be 48".

At Dolphinaris, my daughter was five when she did it and was not yet 48" tall, although close. There were many children swimming with the dolphins who were not yet 10. Maybe the rules have changed.

According to the Dolphinaris website, they also offer a "wet and Wild" type water park after your experience. Has anybody tried this?

I think the wet & wild park is in the Cancun Dolphinarus not the Cozumel one.
