Changing ticket question..and more

I got my 10 day MYW with park hopping tickets a few days ago. Now when we get to WDW all I have to do is go to guest services and have our fingers bioscanned? Is that correct?
These are not paper tickets, but hard plastic credit card type.

Also.. this next question is kinda silly, but bear with me.

When we got our four tickets we had a goofy, donald duck and two minnie's. Do you think they would switch one minnie for another character we don't have? It will be SOOO much easier with the new biometric scanner if we had 4 different characters to make sure the right person has the right ticket.

I ordered the tickets online at WDW.com. There was never a question as to where I was staying.

But.. yes, we are staying onsite. As my name says we are DVC members and we will be at our home resort.

no they don't. I am not sure why we got hard plastic ones. Maybe because we they are 10 day park hopping ones? They look just like the regular paper tickets, but are plastic.

Now I haven't unattached them from the sheet they came on, so I am not sure what they say on the back. Maybe I should do that.

I didn't want to unattach them because they are easier to lose that way, and I have a way of losing things.

I was just hoping I would get more than I did from Disney in the mail. All I got was a packet tailored to us and our vacation.

The biometric scan is done at the gate turnstiles, not at Guest Relations. Just take your tickets right to the gate.

You can always ask. You may get a nice CM who will do it for you. But as a rule of thumb they do not generally do it just because you don't care for the character you got on it.

We actually LOVE Minnie and if the tickets had names on them it wouldn't be a problem. We just usually keep all of our tickets in one place and in the past didn't worry about who got which ticket. It didn't matter. Now it does.

Maybe I will just make some kind of mark on the top of the ticket for identification.

Is there a place to sign the card on the back? Ours always did, that would eliminate the problem! Have a good time!
