Please guys, I really need help with this. My family & I are planning a trip to be at WDW Jan1-6th. The new packages and lower prices seem to start on Jan 2nd.
I know I can make two reservations, but the price difference is tremendous! (I haven't call CRO yet, I was looking on the DIS information pages.) According to that, the holiday rate at Poly for a lagoon view room is over $500. At non-peak time it is nearly $200 less.
I guess we would have to buy a one day ticket for Jan 1. We were planning on spending all day in EPCOT anyway. My first thought was staying at BC, or BW or somewhere near EPCOT, then moving on Jan 2. But my hubby doesn't like changing resorts and will consider it too much of a hassle.
So I want to know: if I book a parking lot view room at Poly for Jan 1 and a lagoon view for Jan 2-6, how much trouble will it be to move?
Can I pack things up and they will move it for me? Will I have to go down to the check-in/out desk and take care of things (I can do that, no problem - before the kids even get up). My hope is that you will tell me that I can take care of it at the front desk, go carelessly off to the parks and come back that night and everything of ours be in the new room.
